Hi guys,
Sorry to barge in but I'm so excited and didn't know where to post.
I've been following this thread for a while and but tend to keep quiet, but thought you all needed to know that I've just completed my first ever Dooyoo review! :j
I've just moved to France (part of my uni course) so I thought I would have to calm my MSE addiction but I have managed to start adapting things for me, including only taking out €1 this morning for a baguette so I didn't buy anything else and of course, doing this review.
Hope you're all having a lovely Saturday.
Fliparoo
Hi Fliparoo,
I am in France as well and love reading this website as although somethings don't apply to me, most stuff does, like not spending any money!
I am getting there with dooyoo. I started off really well and did loads of reviews in a few days, then tailed off for a bit, but I am now so close to getting to the 20000 points, that it has motivated me again!
Just keep going and you will get there. It looks like you have loads to go, but then all of a sudden the points jump up and you don't have many more to get.

I started at the beginning of the month because of the challenge on here but also working full time, and my laptop being in for repair I find it harder to take time to switch on the computer, but as i am at 18260 and so close to the 20000 i'm giving it my all today and tomorrow as I never like to fair at a challenge!Jan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000

I did not have the time to do the dooyoo or ebay challenge but i did not buy my lunches at work so have saved £40 this month and won the bonus ball at work which was £30. Well done for all of you who have got to your targets and i am glad i joined this thread else i would not have made the efforts with my lunches.
Thats a brilliant saving, it really makes a difference, well done. Got to get off my backside, as I can take the credit, but can't take the money....its dds. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
It really depends on how much time you can spend on there each day. I work full time and have a toddler, so I can't write reviews every day. On my busier days I still try to go on dooyoo and rate as many reviews as I have time to as then people return the rates so I earn a few more points even when I don't have to to write the reviews. When I have more time, mainly during school holidays, I plan to write loads of reviews in a Word document and then add them to dooyoo gradually.
I have managed to get to £20 in just under a month and I don't feel like I've spent that much time on dooyoo
This is what I do, I only like to upload a review twice in one day or else it doesnt really get the traffic so if I write more I just save them for another day. If I have just watched a film on tv for example I like to write the review while it is still fresh in my mind.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Thanks Pammy for the tip.
I don't write reviews everyday as I like to try my best and sometimes it can take two hours, rewriting and checking spellings etc but I do review everday (except yesterday as I had a mgraine).
I'm going to try a write a couple today to boost the balance a bit.
Well done everyone who have finished - and to those nearly there, you can do it, just that little bit more to go.
p.s. I can't wait for the next challenge now (I wonder what it will be)I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I work full time too and have two young children. I go on the internet at luchtime usually to post my review and do a few rates. When I started I was doing 2 a day and not rating unless someone rated me. I now try to make 500 points from a review and 500 from rates (only about 35) I find this much better as you don't have to find 2 things to review everyday.Trying to be money neutral for christmas0

I made the £20 last night on dooyoo. Really pleased.
Looking forward to the Feb challenge, though I'm just as happy continuing on dooyoo!
Good luck laurasavon - you're so close - and everyone else who is racing for the finish line today. You can do it. :j
I've also been collecting ipoints - I've been a member for ages, but only started responding properly to the surveys a few months ago. I realised yesterday I have more than enough for the £10 vouchers - I thought they were miles off, so that's a pleasant surprise.I think I will add these to my christmas money at the end of the year.

I've not completed the challenge as such - very disheartened at ebay lately so I haven't done that at all, and although I'm trying to do some stuff on dooyoo I can't seem to get my head in the right direction to write reviews. However I have managed to save £50 into a savings account to go towards a new washing machine which is my priority
I've also managed to "save" a further £75 so for the first time in I don't know how long my income exceeds my expenses :j:money:However that extra £75 is needed to cover bills and savings over February
Next month I'll have a go at doubling my dooyoo balance (currently 3250) and maybe sell a thing or two on ebay as well as whatever the challenge is. It just depends how my OU courses pan outCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
