Come on Laura - one more review and you're there. :j

For everyone awaiting a cheque from dooyoo - I found this on the site:

All cheque redemption requests up to the 20th of January have now been processed and are on their way!

The start of 2010 has been a busy time for dooyoo, which is fantastic, and while we have caught up with cheque payments, unfortunately we are still experiencing some delays in replying to emails. We kindly ask for your patience, and if you have sent a message to us, rest assured we are working as hard as we can to answer it quickly.

Thank you all for understanding and helping us over the holiday period, it is very much appreciated!

I've just filled out my spreadsheet for the month. :money:

I am totally amazed! My gob has well and truly been smacked.

    Here goes:

Money waiting to be paid from cashback sites
    £139.99
Xmas savings (including money from ebay sales)
    £224.13
Amazon Vouchers (including the one waiting for from dooyoo)
    £ 30.00
    Nectar
    £ 10.00
    Boots
    £ 9.49
Save the change from bank (don't use the card much)
    £ 2.89

Taking into account what I've already spent I'm about £180 up but I'll leave the lot there unless I'm desperate and I need it.

So thanks for all your help girls, I couldn't have done it without you. :j:j:j

Really sorry that i haven't caught up with everyone but would love a big bold update from everyone if you get chance with how you did this month. You all seem to have done really well?

    £25 dooyoo

£131 eBay (plus £130 for husband2be's games console :D but can't claim that for this)

New challenge posted tomorrow. Slightly less work involved than this month, otherwise everyone will get bored if they are all too hard!

DooYoo - I never did this as I didnt know what to write reviews on
Might give it a try next month

Ebay final results is £30.59 - not too disappointed with this but aiming to complete £100 by end of February.

Elysia and Jammy you have both done brilliantly!
At last count I had saved/made £187 and a few pence :), since then Ive dont badly through, so I would hazard a guess at around £200!!
I'm so pleased with this, cos I only spent about £350 this christmas, and still really splashed out as I dont have that many people to buy for, and half of them I only spend £5ish on, so if I do as well next month I will have christmas saved for (in february!) and then march and april ill save for other christmas expenses, and then after that I'll save money to treat myself and OH :D lol.
Thank you everyone, looking forward to tomorros challenge :) xxx

Once you start reading a few reviews you start to get ideas for things you could write about. The main things I review are my son's toys and books as I can write quite a bit of my opinion about them rather than just describing them. I find it really difficult to review films and fiction books (apart from kid's books) as everything I want to say gives away too much information to anyone who hasn't seen/read it before. I watched 'The Orphanage' last night, and what a film !! I could write so much about my opinion of it but I would have to give away loads of the story, especially the end, in order for my opinion to make sense. I'll just be content with recommending it on here instead :p
    Making money for Christmas 2012!
  • This months challenges haven't really taken off for me as I have moved this month and as a result have not had any internet connection. However this thred has inspired me and I have just written my first review on DooYoo :j
Looking forward to next months challenge. Congratulations to everyone who has done so well this month :T

Hi everyone. Ooh you lot have done fabulously!

I have made 62565 on Dooyoo this month and received a £50.00 cheque yesterday so thrilled about that. Never managed Ebay due to my camera breaking, on the bright side my Dooyoo points bought me a shiny new camera.

I think my total savings for the month was around £650.00 and spent just under £140.00 including my camera and my daughters clothes for 12-18months. Most of Christmas has been paid for, only a few presents left to get.

Thank you so much for this challenge, I shall be eagerly awaiting the new challenge at midnight hehe hopeful?? :rotfl::D
