    :wave:Hello all! Have been so disappointed not to complete the January challenge. :( I thought I'd have a weekend dooyoo-ing to catch up(last minute as always!!!) but then a nasty stomach bug started working its way through the whole family, grrrr! :mad: Got over it when I realised I've made over £50 altogether this month which is still brilliant- and I'm going to carry on ebaying and dooyoo-ing now that it's a habit! :D

    Aww, don't feel bad for not making the dooyoo challenge, whatever you made on there is more than you had to start with. And making £50 elsewhere is fab! :T So it sounds like it was a great month, not one to feel disappointed about!

    well done folks :D don't worry if you don't quite make the challenges. they are something to aim for. if you make £1 more than you had at the start, we're proud of you :D they are not added pressure, just some fun :)

    Twilight hamper: oooh! can I be your sister please? I would say the books, the dvd, the new dvd is out quite soon too. How about a little necklace with an apple like this:

    http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39341834&ref=sr_list_2&&ga_search_query=twilight+apple+necklace&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=2&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

    or type in twilight into Etsy and you get the most wonderful hand made items:
    http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=handmade&search_query=twilight

    and check back with us that it really is twilight inspired (some just say that so they get hits)

    what about the soundtracks? the music amazing from both films, i love the soundtracks!

    I would get her the Southern Vampire Mysteries books (based on True Blood) too as she is bound to love them too!

    fed08 - how about some notebooks and keyrings, get some images from google and cover cheap pads and put into keyrings

    mmm perhaps i`ll do some topgear ones, i`ve got some on my blog that were a present, just fancy ones and they went down well.

    I just sent a mobile off, only worth £10.50 but got £4.50 cashback. :j

    I took my daughters contract phone off her and got PAYG so that`ll save £100 :eek: and no arguements.:mad::mad:

    I`ve also bought a O2 mobile broadband stick for £10.00 and got £18.75 nectar points and £10 cash back, (part of the bribe for taking the contract phone away )

    And I sold two old ink cartridges on ebay at a profit of £1.75
    :rotfl::rotfl:

    The inspiration is excellent , thank you guys :beer:

    Buying stuff that is in the reduced to clear sections of the supermarket. Normally I can't get much but this month I've had a few bargains :D Unfortunately I'm now on a serious diet change (Doctors orders) so I'm guessing there's going to be less whoopsies for me to take advantage of now :( Its usually all processed stuff, stuff we don't eat anyway or more than £1 - I only buy it if its 50% or more reduced from the original price unless it fruit/veg or toiletries ;)
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Well we come a cropper this morning. Daughter had an orthodontist appointment - said 5 mins on the appointment card. Realised last week that OH is working today and cant take us and we cant get there other than by car without doing a really long journey. Its just the other side of the river to us but there is only the Medway Tunnel and you cant walk through it. We live about 5 minutes from it and the orthodontists is about 5 mins the other side.

    OH rang them last week to try to change the appointment to a day he was off and they said they cant see her till end of April so I had to get a cab and it cost me £7 to get there!! She was only in there 10 minutes at the longest. We decided on the way back to just get the cab to come under the tunnel then get out and walk the rest (still cost me Over £5) which was fine until it started to rain. What with not being well this week as well and my road is all uphill to my house. I was absolutely cream crackered when I got in. She has had to miss the whole morning off school for a 5 minute appointment and now I need to start earning again to pay for the **** taxi.

    Sorry -- rant over. Off to do some Dooyoo rating and get my breathe back xx

    I know how you feel! DD1's orthordontist is well over 10 miles away. I struggle to get the car as OH uses it for work. It drives me crazy that the othodontist only works school hours Mon-Thurs, so if you do have to change the appointment, it's another 8 weeks for an appointment (that's after waiting 7-8 weeks in the first place).

    After intially being told she should have her brace on only 12 months, we are coming up to 2 and a half years because of delays.

    I hope you are feeling a little better now. Have a cup of tea and put your feet up!

    :T Your twilight ideas are fab, thanks everyone. :T
    Think I may try covering a notebook and pen, haven't a clue how to start covering a pen though!
    Had thought of the soundtracks-not sure if she's got them, will have to do a little subtle digging! Also there's an original score CD which looks interesting.
    I have just read the first book so am way behind, but I loved it, and am a little bit in love with Edward too, which is very wrong :o
    Will keep you all posted with what I get :D
