I have finally got enough Toluna points to redeem for a voucher? which voucher do people tend to go for? Am undecided between love2shop and amazon. If I redeem them now I might get it in time for Christmas!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
It made me think when i was looking for something in the OHs car and found £3 something....he doesnt know he lost it and it was probably mine to start with...so in the pot it goes lol
I think I might have to check our car and see if there's any pennies lying around I can put in the pot. DH usually leaves spare change in his trouser pockets when he puts them in the laundry basket so I'll put all that in too, he never remembers he had it anyway!
Dh, Ds and I had a day out today. We went to visit Peak Cavern in Derbyshire. I had to go as I will be taking 90 kids there in the summer on a school trip, so I had to check it out as we've not been before. My school phoned them and managed to get free entry for me and my son (we had to pay for dh). That saved us over £10, can I count that towards my savings if I put it in the pot?
Oh, and the car park at the caves should have been £3. I put £2 in then the final £1 got stuck. I twisted the thingy to get the £1 back and it dropped through and gave it back, but registered it as paying, so it saved me a £1 which I will put in my pot

I'm £18.80/£20.00 on money saving challenge, wanted to buy some sale jewellery (it was gorgeous) and I managed to restrain myself, just!
So glad I did now because I had a package arrive this morning, I have won £25.00 of Topshop jewellery and it is lovely.
Haven't found the time to Dooyoo yet, but im at £15.00 from my last cheque, and have just sent off for a voucher from Toluna, wont hold my breath for anything ariving for a while.
Seems Boots wont recycle broken cameras or phones, not sure what to do with either of them now.
Shall be listing a few items on Ebay, but I don't want the hassle of signing up and using Paypal, do you think it is worth listing items without the PayPal option?
Really hoping to get all the challenges done this month, feeling really motivated now!
Congratulations on the TopShop voucher, long shot but have you thought of listing the camera and phone on ebay, as theres people that buy them and use them for spares on their other phones.

Well im waiting for pending rewards on....surveyhead and can then cash out £15, Im a few surveys away from getting £10 paypal on lightspeed and 3 REVIEWS away from the big 50! Im just so tired of reviewing lol.
*TIP* IF you ever have the luxury of getting a taxi always sit in the back and check under the floor mats. I found about £4.50 on one ride home. think of all the drunks who drop their change! Best checked late a night though as im sure the driver will do it after each shift anyway lol.

Another tip re taxis - when dd and I went to Blackpool we met up with a lady from the threads and her grandson, cut a long story short, we all hit it off and we went out with her and dgs, they own a taxi, can't remember why or how, or what the kids were doing but they found some money down by the seatbelt holders, (plus lighter), we guessed that its when men have pulled money out of their pocket.
Makes a new thought to have a quick feel in the back of the taxi!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

It depends what u'd get the best benefit from, I got Sainsburys, and got some booze for xmas, and put the money in our internet tin.
Thou Amazon does come in useful
I know with the post office postings, if I do a misdelievery survey, (get 3 a yr) they pay Love to shop vouchers, so Iput them up for Iceland Shop, thou there are a lot of places that do accept them.
Apologies no help - most proberly made it more confusing... xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mum2one, what is a misdelivery survey? and how much in love2shop vouchers do you get?
Everyone is doing so well, I think I have probably saved £20, but I will add it all up tomorrow. I went for a meal at GBK last night but one of the waitresses was really rude and almost had me in tears, I spoke to the manager and he gave us our whole meal + drinks free (he even wanted us to order more things!!!) which was lovely! Can this class as money saving as other wise I would have paid the £30 for the meal? If it can I'm probably at about £50 so I think I will aim for £100

Its run by Royal Mail, basically tracking post that comes to you and you post, on a quiet week we post 1 letter and recieve 4 letters, you don't get paid but every 4 weeks ur sent 12 x 1st class and 4 x large 1st class, then the misdelievery, basically for 2 weeks you count your post, make sure its all the correct names for the household and whether anything was left on the doorstep. They pay £6 for that. Its not money making, but the stamps come in at xmas, theres a thread on it,
