They say women moan........ but think Bailey beats it.

Dad took him for a walk, then on way home stopped to chat to a neighbour, apparently they were gossiping for 20 mins, the whole time Bailey sat there whimpering and making moaning noises... as soon as dad moved he stopped and yanked in home as is to say I'm not stopping again xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

My DH and DD1 are "starring" in the Church pantomime this week - a few weeks ago I paid £30 in advance for tickets for various people and had forgotten about it, went to get tickets today and was given back £2 change, then later found 5p on the floor, so another £2.05 into my savings tin.

  • Hi everyone :)
I wondered if I could join this? I'd be doing it for slightly different reasons (emigrating to Spain in July, if we have enough money!) but I'd be just as motivated! At the moment I do Dooyoo, and earnt £50 in Jan, I've been a bit slack in Feb but I'll get reviewing again soon!
I'm trying not to spend, so quidco etc are on hold until I actually have to spend, and I write articles for an online magazine in America and am paid £60 per bunch, I used to get a few bunches a week which was good but at the moment I am only getting one.

I'd appreciate any ideas, and well done everyone!!

    Hello there and welcome!

It sounds as though you are doing really well already, however, if you would like more ideas mum2one, Jamtart and Sarah (?) are the ones who usually set us challenges to do each month - if you take a look at the first 2 posts at the beginning of the thread, they will bring you up to speed!

Just join in where you like and keep us up to date with how you are doing - it helps to keep everybody motivated.

I've added a bit more to my money saving pot -
Sat - Saved £2.00 didn't take dd to the cinema, and £4.50 not going to McDonalds (blame the toothache and the cold), but on the positive side, dds friends mum took them to 2 parks Saturday, so she had fresh air.

Sun - Saved £2.00 - Not that I would recommend going down this route to save money, the cold, played havac with my asthma, I frightened the heck out of mum, she thought there been a train derailed (hard to describe but the 2 house facing ours and next dr, they overlook a railway line, every so often you hear them when their working on the line)....... it was my breathing, so off to a+e we go.... never got in so quick in my life, popped into a wheel chair, into bed, asked to take coat off, realised got my pjs on... got changed ready to watch Danceing On Ice. They laughed.... I got told got a chest infection, (I know), explained I was going to ring gp for appointment for antibitoics, he said wait there I'll do the prescription now so you can rest. For once a massive thank you NHS.

(saved the £2 as we managed to get one of those prized parking spaces by a+e,that are usually like gold dust!!)
Ok now, dads topped up my mini whisky bottle, (dad it on the gum) as he's down to mini malts and they can't be wasted!!

    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
