  • Hi -well, I've been doing loads of surveys, my shop and scan etc and last month managed to redeem £28 in vouchers. This month I've had some really big surveys and have managed to redeem £40 already so doing really well. Not managed to do any ebaying yet.. I must do it at the weekend. I popped into boots last weekend and they had what was left of the 75% off sale down to 50p or less so I got 3 presents and 3 packs of ribbons&bows for £1.80 lol but I paid with advantage points so really they were free. My dh is really coming round to my way of thinking now! I also won £28 worth of Topshop jewellery in a comp I entered so that will be going as an xmas gift as well. Hope my luck continues as I have challenged myself to do xmas 2010 totally free - well, we'll see! xx
    Started comping 01.01.2010. Wins 2010(Jan-June £2,535)
January wins - Models own lipstick, Beauty Pod, Onya Weigh Bags, Figleaves/Always win, Crabtree&Evelyn Chocolate indulgence win, No7 Mascara, Green, furry, horny hat:rotfl:,DVD. Feb: Limited Edition baby pack

This may sound a bit double dutch, as I can't exactly name the company but I can explain how I had a discount voucher -

As you all know I rave about a certain company on the internet that sells things as cheaper than the cost price

This is the best way I can explain - bit lon wided apologies (but bwst thing I could think of)
As in our household theres 3 adults. we each have our own email address and over the last couple of years different members of the family have paid for their orders.

But the last few I have paid for...

The other 2 adults recieved offers - 1st 25% off £50 spend. the other person recieved £15 off £50 spend

So as a family we (or rather I) choose some items for the house and extras on the £1 line....... and kids gifts etc etc to get for christmas and spares for when Miss Hoodie has a party invite, rather than doing the headless chic spend £10 when I only really wanted to spend £5.... but with items purchased in advance I could give the girls a pink jewellery shoe box at £1.oo

Joke this - answers on a post card - they might not do the offer again this year but for anyone using their OH be worth a try

If you do need the name PM me xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

The Miss Hoodie saga..... and men....... it says it all.

2ngt......finally got dd to bed 8.30pm, then loo at 10pm for me she still pratting around, told her toilet, then back to bed... 5 mins later she comes down I did a big poo... it was that big I've blocked the loo... but I flushed again and it went away..... (bit to much information!!!)

half an later, there off to bed..........she had blocked the loo... so without the grusome details, dads trying to sort it with pink rubber gloves.... shouts me from downstairs to come and find a metal coathanger.... bare in mind mums sat at the end of her bed in absolute stitches...... he does the deed.......then says do you want me to straighten the coathanger back out!!

    xx

  • Saved a bit of money this week - bought the fruit shrubs from Aldi that I've been waiting for. I had been planning to buy new containers for them, but instead I rounded up what I could from the garden and planted them in the odds and ends. It's really just postponed spending because they will need to be moved to bigger planters later this year, but it keeps me in budget this week and gives me time to hunt out a bargain. :)

Sent off an old broken mobile - should get £5 including cashback. Not a lot, but this challenge has shown me how these little bits all add up.

Also signed up to the Ipsos panel after reading a review of them on dooyoo (can't remember who wrote it now!) and have been going after more ipoints.

I haven't posted a lot on this thread, but I have been reading it and it's giving me so much motivation so thank you. :)
