Proper winter wonderland, I love it......:D
(and now the on-topic bit);)
This should be the one of the busiest days of the year for pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs as everyone has their work night out, and this weekend should be the busiest for shopping as the last weekend before X-Mas.
Can't remember the last time it snowed this heavily on the key retail/leisure days before X-Mas.
You'd think it must have a negative impact in some way.....
I won't until know tomo what the effects were on sales in Central London but I know what we should have T/O..so..I will update tomo the FC123 financial loss to the snow.0 -

I've refreshed that cam link 20 times and sod-all has happened. Is Aberdeen always this lively? Also, what time zone is it in?

Where are the Friday Night binge drinkers?
Exactly. Even in Barnstaple, which isn't over-lively, we need crash barriers round the public tree.:p
(That's obviously to protect the public from the tree. In my local town, the council had to cancel the tree this year as they couldn't afford the insurance for such a dangerous item.)0 -
On the way home through snow less here, I went along a orad parellel to here...about a mile and half away at most. here is a huge patch, about 16 metres long of quite thick, deep slush...no snow anywhere, just this patch of slush.....
what on earth is that about??0 -

Probably down near the pubs......
The webcam is to the aberdeen uni campus. Which is deserted, as they're on hols.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
