Aww, I hope he gets better soon.
As I write this, the snow is coming down again fairly. Might wait a while and see if the weather improves. Will have to release my Colchester jobs
:( but its not worth risking the trek in this weather. Would be alright if the trains were running as I would not have to drive but there is a replacement bus service on today which would be a lot of hassle.

It's difficult isnt it? I have 3 in Diss tomorrow and have no idea if I will get there, and then of course if it comes down heavy while I'm there I could get stuck there .

While we're on the subject of RE, has anyones payment been rolled over? I had one that was listed as being due for payment today, but for some reason has now been put back to 25th. Wouldn't mind so much but I completed the job 11th December so that's 2 pay days it's missed now!

yes just checked mine this morning and it has as well. not impressed considering two jobs were from 19th dec! i find re usually pay really quickly, now i will have to wait nearly as long as i do from gap :(

Interesting. One of the last jobs I did on the 14th Dec was paid on the 21st Dec (which was the 25th payment brought forward), but the one I did on the 18th Dec seems to have been rolled over to the 25th Jan.

Miss Qwerty, have you checked that your payment details are all ok? I know I missed a payment because of that. Although I reckon it's punishment for getting our Dec pay early ;)
  • Snowing here in Colchester, so don't blame you for Cancelling today.

About to drive to Clacton to do department store for Aba-i and an electrical for GR, I am hoping the natural salt from the coast there will have gritted the roads.

I have. Over £4 and I didnt even get any eggs. The woman ahead of me picked up the last box. I still expect to get my £3 back.

Ive got a feeling that they reimburse a straight £2 on the assumption that you spend £3 and get a £1 back in the return.Thats what I got last time although I didnt even have a receipt .

Did everyone get offered the membership without asking?
  • Right I'm off out to Bury. Snow eased off so going to give it ago!
  • No snow here today. Last night the forecast was "Heavy Snow". Today it's changed to "Grey Skies" and it's actually thawing!!

Off with hubby & 2 kids to do an American brothers lunch!

Looking back at previous invoices I have always received reimbursement of £3 apart form once and that was because I only spent £2.77p. Generally I spend a little over as I like to get maximum benefit!

I find most ask for a card but don't spontaneously offer it. When I ask what use it is to have one some will speak a little but very few go on to give full details or a leaflet. Many don't even hear me ask the question as they are busy being efficient and hurrying me along. Some make me feel like a dotty old lady for asking!
    :p

i made a boo boo and only spent £1.92! on the eggs and a pint of (off!) milk. they replaced the milk so no refund :(
Guess i;ll only get £1.92 back. cest la vie

Hi, Could anyone please help with a RE query? There are a couple of jobs I'd like to book and I don't often get the chance due to silly new shifts at work. The ones I can do have a date thats already gone - before I used to book it and ring up and arrange it on the next working day but can't seem to proceed now although 1 i wanted appears to have now been booked by someone else? I'd be grateful for any help with this
Sorry to repeat this question, but can anyone shed any light on this as there is a job that I would really like to accept and can't :(.
