Hi,
Would anybody kindly have a copy of the example profit / loss spreadsheet designed by UKMonkey?
I'd like to get an idea of what I should be doing with regards to record keeping.
I tried the website it is hosted on here
http:// rs352.rapidshare.com/files/253009889/MS_Logger.xls
but it won't download.
Thanks for anybody's help!

When I was putting in all my results last night, I had to choose the day that the shop was done, and 7 out of the 8 that I did didn't allow Sunday as an option. So I would imagine probably not - possibly down to not getting deliveries on a Sunday so low stock availability perhaps? Just guessing.....
Might be worth phoning ESA if they're around today?0 -
You're right, I just checked with one of mine, it won't allow me to pick Sunday. That is a bit of a drag as I was intending on doing 2 visits today. Hmm think I will have to start my car circuit today and do the egg shops tomorrow. Bit of a drag. Good job I looked on here before I went and did the shops though.
Don't suppose you fancy doing my car jobs for me today?
Think my clutch didn't like the punishment I gave it this morning trying to get the car to move!0 -
Gosh don't anyone do the egg shops today. Sunday is not allowed and you won't get paid.
And Chef re RE. You are saying what I have said what months. As I recently said...the Woolworth's of the MS'ing world. How it makes sense for MS'ers to go to a crappy pub for 1 drink and a lager and then answer 87 ridiculous questions AND a summary repeating everything you have just said. And you try and submit the report and it comes up with loads of unanswered questions. I got so fed up with p****** about with them I just got cheeky and put.I have already answered this question.
They cannot even get their website right. With these fees RE must be coining it in. Shoppers who like little lap dogs keep saying "Yes thank you so much for the tiny fee....any more jobs please" are in fact promoting RE's cause and soon some of the better jobs with other companies will be snapped up by them. One GR job already as. And down has gone the fee and up has gone the questions.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

I spoke to ESA on friday about doing some extra ones one sunday and he said no but extended them for a few more days.
anyone having probs entering results for esa because when I checked all the details were correct and entered the results before I clicked submit I noticed that the results were on the wrong shop (found this odd as I checked the details behand matched)
I have left a message (and email) for them but as of yet no answer (this was sat am) was just wondering if anyone else had seen these ?0 -

I agree the amount of work I do for RE has dropped loads now0 -

yes just checked mine this morning and it has as well. not impressed considering two jobs were from 19th dec! i find re usually pay really quickly, now i will have to wait nearly as long as i do from gapMystery Shopping £1147/£2000 (Jan) :j

I have to agree about RE. When I started MS'ing back in August, I thought they were the bees knees. They always seemed to have lots of assignments to choose from. Then I developed my MS confidence and applied with other companies and did work for them. I then discovered I could earn more money for less strenous report filling with other companies compared to RE. RE soon fell to the bottom of my list. In my opinion, they are only good for the sandwich jobs, train stations and cookies. Now and again, I will do a pub but only the royal variety. With the other chain, you have to write loads about the fixtures and fittings amongst other things. Not worth a drink and a microwavable meal for.
To cut a long story short, I'm very picky about what I accept now with RE.0 -

Yep, I have been taking some of the Bury St E jobs lately with GR. I don't get offered any Ipswich jobs from them so thought they must be short of takers from the Bury area. I'm lucky that I live in between the two towns so I like to spread myself around!
Snowing here so I may cancel my Colchester shops. Have another Bury job to do too so might postpone that. What is the weather like in Bury?
Hi Pennies
Not been on here much as I have had my elderly father here since Christmas Day, as he was admitted into hospital for 24 hours and is still not well enough to go home, and as you can imagine I have been a bit busy looking after him.
I seem to get offered the Ipswich ones from GR rather than the Bury ones, which seems odd as I am nearer to Bury than you. The weather's not too bad at the moment but the sky is looking like there's loads more to come down, and I think we are going to get a really heavy downpour soon. Personally I dont think it's worth taking the chance.

Aww, I hope he gets better soon.
As I write this, the snow is coming down again fairly. Might wait a while and see if the weather improves. Will have to release my Colchester jobsbut its not worth risking the trek in this weather. Would be alright if the trains were running as I would not have to drive but there is a replacement bus service on today which would be a lot of hassle.
