I felt really bad going back in with my crushed crisps. In the second shop id taken a pin with me, and when I left I pierced the bottom of my milk carton so it was only leaking a wee bit. Im chuffed to get all the eggs though, I do slimming world and eggs are a free food, so I can eat as many as I want.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

On my very last one I bought cream donuts which were yummy as I took a bite. I reluctantly took it back to the shop to complain and the assistant replaced that box and gave me another as compensation...one happy bunny with 2 boxes of cakes!0 -

The ones I can do have a date thats already gone - before I used to book it and ring up and arrange it on the next working day but can't seem to proceed now although 1 i wanted appears to have now been booked by someone else?
I'd be grateful for any help with this
I cant see any replies to this, and I have been wonderng the same thing. Before, you used to be able to set an expired date to accept the job, but now it wont let you. Does anybody have the answer to this please?0 -

Hey everyone, I managed to do 8 egg shops yesterday around the Borders between Peebles and Galashiels! Was a bit hairy at times with the weather, but the main roads were all fairly good. Although my TomTom decided to have a laugh and take me down a B road which hadn't been touched, so I got to practice my skid control!
So I now have 46 eggs to use (2 of them in one box were broken because the assistant didn't check and they were the last box on the shelf....). Guess I'm going to do a lot of baking at some point over the next week or two!
Was supposed to be doing 5 car garages today, but my car is well and truly stuck in the snow so that ain't going to be happening.
I have a question about RE - given all the nonsense that's going on just now with the website and the fees that seem to be getting lower and lower for the work they expect you to do, why do people keep accepting jobs from them? I did a job for them a few weeks ago just to dip my toe in the water, and I got £5 for the type of detail I would have got £10 for from other MS companies. In comparison, the egg jobs yesterday were easy peasy and fairly lucrative (just wishing I'd applied to do even more now!). Maybe we should start some kind of campaign to Boycott RE until they raise their fees to a more realistic level!0 -
We have suggested an RE boycott before, although it didn't work because there are some people who think a cup of tea and a glass of cola are sufficient compensation for spending time in a pub and so still accept those jobs.
The good news is when RE did half the fee on one of the pub chains, it must have meant not enough people accepted them because that pub is now paying the usual fee again. Still poor but better (slightly) than nothing.Happy New Year :beer:0 -
Thanks
I visited fabric dept but it wants answers for both fabric and cushions and then says only answer if you visited XYZ. But if you leave blank you can't move on
Sent them an e mail so i'll have to wait till Monday, getting ready for another long conversation explaining why i didn't submit details intime.
I'd never leave anything blank, put N/A or something to say it wasn't visited and move on. Get it submitted!!!0 -

!
So you got the Gala jobs! I've got the rest of the A7 and A68 jobs plus Kelso/Coldstream to do but couldnt get out of my street. It's looking ok now so I'm hoping to do them tomorrow and Tuesday. Whats the chances it snows again before tomorrow!
I agree with the RE fees. I've not done many for them as I dont think it's worth it. Have only done ones when Ive been in the area anyway and even then there's some that I wouldnt bother with again.0
