Miss Qwerty, have you checked that your payment details are all ok? I know I missed a payment because of that. Although I reckon it's punishment for getting our Dec pay early

Yeah after their new website launched I double checked to make sure they hadn't "Lost" any of my info and it still seems to be there ok. I reckon you're right about the punishment you know. How dare we ask for money when they're so busy improving things

Sorry to repeat this question, but can anyone shed any light on this as there is a job that I would really like to accept and can't :(.

Think you are going to have to wait till the morning and there is someone in the office.

You have such different weather than us and in the same county! weve had snow for 10 days now (and as i am typing!) and yesterday was a really bad blizzard. we are snowed in for definite and cannot get the car out of the street. i am going crazy stuck in especially when i have work to do and sales to wander around :o

Snow awful in my patch of Kent too, although only since Thursday. Up until then we had snow but I could escape. Now both hills either side of me are treacherous and so I am resigned to staying put.

Catching up on household chores though- early spring cleaning! I must be sooooooooooooo bored!

Snowed heavily yesterday and couldn't get the car off the street so sent an email to ESA to reschedule my jobs. Today the weather is much better so I went off to do my yellow pages delivery (crazy I know) and then I had a phone shop to do. Twisted my ankle after the first street... went on to do a couple of more, then decided it wasn't a good idea. Came back home, ankle in pain, put my feet up and now have to cancel the phone shop as I don't want to risk doing further damage. I'm annoyed because I had so much planned this weekend and it's all gone pear shaped because of the snow.

Yes that's true ..... I suppose I wasnt thinking straight was I, lol.
  • I had a busy day lined up but after seeing the weather forecast I cancelled todays jobs. Typically all were jobs needing to be done by today. So wake up and the forecast has changed - my car wasnt even in need of defrosting! Grrrr. I've thrown away a ton of work!

My TNS job was a today only job, but if I try to get it back by applying again, it says 'day not matched'. Huh? It's for the 10th and that's today!?

Also could anyone explain why RE has 42 jobs available, yet i can only see about 10 in my list?? Where did the others go!?

Having an injury would really screw up work for weeks. Broke my leg once and was out of action for nearly 3 months.

We don't want to let agencies down but it can cost big time in bad snow and ice conditions. Heard on the radio today that where people had abandoned there cars they have been towed away and are having to pay £150 to get them released. My daughter had to abandon hers on Wednesday and stay in a hotel. All the added expense and risk is such a pressure and really not worth it for a phone job. I think the agencies understand - least I hope so otherwise I shall be picking up those dreaded RE and Gap assignments that I usually avoid!

Hats off to all who have been able to get! Hoping I get thawed by tomorrow:snow_laug

    Rest easy creaker.

Found with TNS jobs on the day that you can't book them but if you email the contactus@ address and put Urgent Submission enquiry and state the job details they will often allocate it (providing no one has snapped it up or the time frame/day of week is wrong)

As for the RE site - it has huge mysteries at the moment - worse than it ever was but I expect we just have to sit tight for the next "Great New Developments":rotfl:

Thanks Rosy. Hope you thaw out soon.

I don't get the new RE site either, it says I have over 400 but only see about 50 when I click on the available assignments.
