please please help me with my tax!!
i've done a search but still had a few probs with stuff, i've got my income and profit/loss all worked out, my total profit is £11.60, now I've come to enter it it has thrown me a little as it's talking like as if I have a business, just to make it clear I want to confirm a few things if anyone can help??
turnover - is this like all income including fees and reimbursements? (like desrcibed in the first post on the thread)
and then total allowable expenses - this is my mileage and printing
annual investment allowance - what is this?
Allowance for small balance of unrelieved expenditure - again i'm not sure what this is?
net business profit - is this my £11.60
I know this sounds like I'm stupid but I need to clarify what I have already done just to clear my mind, I plan on calling the helpline tomorrow but any help I can get will be great thank you!!0 -
Yep mine rolled over too and had already rolled over from previous one, it was an early december job.
My payment has rolled over too.. for the second time as it was due on the early Christmas run. It was for my hotel stay so really could do with this payment.
My RE homepage still shows almost 500 jobs, but at the most 30 actually show up I hope they get the problems sorted out soon.
Am missing GR jobs at the moment as they seem to be quieter than ususal which is a shame.0 -
Also a family Italian Brothers meal for me today -very nice and I agree with Tractor Girl re liking the the new report system for this one It surprised me too...
Trying to motivate myself to print off and plan big garage circuit for tomorrow now.

Spent £14 less than the max reimbursement though!!!!
Yes I put '60' as well then added a note in with the receipt comment.
Also managed to spend below the maximum as we dropped 2 of the 3 kids off at the cinema and just took the little one!
Actually really enjoyed our meal today, made a nice change xIf you can’t beat your computer at chess, try kickboxing.:rotfl:0 -

I'm not sure what the other two are, I did my tax return a few months ago, and as far as I remember I left them blank, or put 0. Hope that helps.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -
annual investment allowance - what is this?
Dont know if it would apply to us. A big company could get this when upgrading machinery. Possible a tradesman could get it on a new van, tools etc. Not sure on the finer details. There used to be rules about it being for long term investment. Dont know if it would apply to a new camera, stopwatch for MS'ing. Possibly if you got a new computer but only on your business use on the computer.0 -
