I had a few queries about jobs on the site yesterday and it would have been useful to speak to them about.

They seem to process jobs in the evening and jobs get loaded in the evening at times too. So there must be someone available...Just wish they had a contact number for the weekend.

I think the proof readers work from home so although jobs get approved etc it doesn't necessarily mean that there is someone in the office.

Is anyone else having trouble with the RE site? I've got a new computer and I'm not sure if it's my new computer or the RE site. When I sign in it shows up loads of jobs as being available (down the left hand side) but the actual jobs don't appear when I click on this. Anyone else having this problem?

It's not you, it's them. We're all having the same problem, see further up the thread for inconclusive discussions on this subject.

Culchied if you look at the last umpteen pages on here you will see everyone has the same problem.

Forgive me. Just noticed other people seem to be having similar problems. I had a panic that my nice (expensive) shiny new computer would have to go back...

Can anyone actually allocate jobs?

This is what I see when I sign into RE and click on the 300+ jobs available...

Some people are seeing more jobs then others as far as I can tell. Maybe they have started using the points in some way? I can only see sandwiches, nightclubs and a few cancelled jobs. My average must be pretty poor with them as I do cancel or rearrange RE jobs at the drop of a hat if more lucrative jobs come up.

Thanks! I ought to have read back a bit further. I initially saw people were able to submit reports and there were a few alerts for RE on the alerts thread and panicked!

I could see some jobs yesterday but now I can't see any, even though it says there are 340+ available.

Yeah. I just bought it. (MS has to pay for something!) I was panicked that MS websites weren't compatible with my Mac software.
