Yes, comes in a differant box stating recon.
But as for the phone, you wouldn't know it was a recon, mine was 100% perfect.

It doesn't come unlocked and I think it's difficult to get unlocked.
I think that you can get any phone unlocked through Virgin after you've spent £30? Details should be on their website.
The Nokia 1101 is easy to get onlocked online.

In the end I went for the "safe" option and ordered via rpoints who are offering 500 points for VM orders until the end of July.

I don't get it though, if the Quidco offer has been extended, why don't they update the offer on the site?
