I have a 60 GB Xbox 360, purchased a year ago, and I haven't had a single problem with it. *touch wood*

I purchased it just for gaming, and to me it seemed like the better choice, reliability problems or not.

So you wouldnt bat an eyelid if it failed you?

Of course I would. But for my tastes, the Xbox 360 has a better games catalogue, so I'm prepared to put up with whatever problems it has in order to play the games I want to play.

I still remember my first xbox 360 dying in the first week of launch, none of the stores had any spare swap stock and microsoft ended up couriering me a replacement.

Our 360's fine, MW2 now isn't after some twit picked it up while running...

I bought my Xbox 360 in 2006 and it failed after 6 months (red ring of death). The replacement has been fine since.
  • My son's 20GB 360 RROD'd after 2 years. Replacement has been OK.

Other son's Arcade model is about a year old. So far so good. :)

Had one with 3 red lights, just over 3 years old. Second one's going strong.
