    If it's less than three years old, Microsoft will repair it for free.

    They have extended the warranty to three years for "red ring of death" faults. Once you tell them the problem, they'll tell you how to start the repair process.

  • i have a ps3 slim 120gb, it has never broken but some times freezes, from what i have heard the xbox failure rate is 50% + and the ps3 rate is around 10%.

    Good point. They games were much worse too. The PS1 was named a "Yuppy toy" and I think cost about £500.00 when it came out... but who wants to compensate yuppies?
