Finally got the confirmation email saying I will get my cashback. These things should either be easy or not offered at all - its reliance on people not claiming this sort of thing that makes it viable to offer and I don;t like the idea that people are relied on not to do something that really should be done for them anyway!!

That's why I will always complain and always follow things like this through and others should too.

I'm not entirely satisfied after the hassle of getting this cash back but pleased it will be coming soon.

Sounds like I have the same issue as hud125.

Received e-mail from Beatthatquote.com on 03/01/2012 stating I claimed through the wrong form, and to e-mail cashbackappeal@beatthatquote.com to obtain the correct claim form.

I've sent two e-mails regarding this on 03/01/2012 and 13/01/2012, neither of which have had a reply. The claim number is 27344

Can I please have an update regarding this?

Basically the exact same thing that hud125 says. Got the e-mail myself, thank you for sorting it - but more hassle than it should be; how many people will chase it up like hud125 and myself?

Just had a go at google car insurance quote.Unable to change vehicle made date currently limited to 2011,but mine was built in 2009? Either I am missing something (a la "Doh!",my brain hurts) or it is set up differently ?

I remember raising this topic in a thread which pre-dated this one. I did - finally - manage to get my cashback but only after hitting all the fudge and smokescreens that have figured in this thread, and I am convinced that without persistence and publicity through MSE I would still be out of pocket now. The onus is on BTQ to prove that they have improved both their attitude and ways - which I sincerely doubt - or for the site to be issued (by MSE) with a Government Health Warning. If the rep from MSE is on copy of this perhaps we could have some (genuine) positive testimonials / positive feedback eBay-style?
