It's been months now since I took out my policy... how do I go about claiming for my cashback?

@geordie_ben - if you go to https://www.beatthatquote.com/capture/cashback/motor_insurance you can make your cashback claim there. If you are concerned about going directly from a link, then go to our home page, then click on Car Insurance and there is a link on that page

I've done this now and had my claim approved.

The email address they have been sending info to is my work address and I need to get this changed so all correspondence goes to my personal account.

The email address they currently have will cease to exist tomorrow when I leave my current job... how can I make sure the email change request happens? I've emailed [EMAIL="insurance-enquiries@beatthatquote.com"]insurance-enquiries@beatthatquote.com[/EMAIL] and [EMAIL="matthew@beatthatquote.com"]matthew@beatthatquote.com[/EMAIL]... is this something you can follow up for me?

I tried several of these online quote sites, not that good IMO. The prices varied wildly with each one even though they were giving quotes from the same insurance companies like Hastings and Churchill for eg.

I ended up going with Hastings Essential and when I paid by credit card, I found they charged me 10 quid more than the guaranteed quote given online.

Sorry, but are you complaining about BTQ, or just having a go at all online quotes systems? Which one did you end up going through?

This is the info in our car insurance guide on how to claim the cashback:

How to get the cashback: You must claim it 60 days after buying the policy, it’ll then be paid after another 60 days – so it's not quick. To claim it you must use the password and reference number that Beatthatquote gives you to retrieve your quote on the insurer's site, and ensure you buy exactly the same policy.

Then use this cashback claim form after 60 days. Details will be emailed to you, so always check your junk folder, and diarise the dates to chase it up.

Wendy, I think the point of my post was missed or misunderstood. Ihatecameron seemed to be having a rant about online quote sites and then has stated he didnt get the price they were offered... I was checking as to whether it was through BTQ or through a diffrenent company so we could direct the user to the correct thread

Just waiting for the money to come through... not had any emails so I'm hoping they've changed my contact to my new address instead of my old work one....
