Start making tshirts with C - Then we'll screw 'em all, etc

I suggest wearing one of these little beauties into Nationwide and personally hand deliver bank charges letter :)

And well done on resisting Prison Break!

If you must have it, buy it through quidco, and get it cheaper :)

    Well helloooooooo

Not had much to say recently, still pootling along. But I've been busy over the last week!
    • I've been looking for places to live - still with no luck tho, boo
    • I've sent off my prelim letter for bank charges, court action starts on Monday :j
    • Did two mystery shops today, my day off
    • I've started matched betting  It's actually a lot, lot easier than I'd originally thought, but it's quite time consuming! There are a couple of things I'm not clear on, but I'm getting there. Anyway, in the 8 days since I dipped my toe in I've made a profit of £129.77 :j :j :j Plus another £50ish if anything in Quidco ever tracks!
    • But the most recent exciting thing - one of the bookies I signed up to for the betting gave me a free £10 casino chip. Didn't think I'd see any of it because you can't withdraw until you've turned it over ten times - but I've been on a bit of a roulette spree and have just withdrawn £50!!!! :D:D So chuffed with that, totally free £50! All of this money will be going into a separate savings account to be paid off debts when it's chunky enough. As soon as the money hits my account I'll transfer it over.

    All in, I'm a happy bunny tonight. Wooooh :j :j :j

    Howdy folks

Well, I've been busy. I'm 90% sure I've found somewhere to move to now :D It's well within budget, great location, Kirstie and Phil would be proud :rotfl: I'll update on that when it's certain

Tomorrow I fill out my court things for the bank charges. Woooh! Hopefully be all over soon and I can put the money to good use :)

I've been a bit lax reading the dfw pages as I've been getting into the matched betting, but I'm going to make more of an effort from now on!

The matched betting is going well, for a noob! It's so time consuming! Well worth it though, even if I haven't actually got any of the profits because they're loaded in Betfair... I've withdrawn enough that all of my MB outgoings have been covered and the remainder in Betfair is pure profit :D:D

I'm missing CAFCGirl, so if by any chance you're lurking and see this, COME BACK!

wow, it's been a month since I posted in here :o

I've been soooo busy. I've moved house now, but I did lose my freeview remote control somewhere so I'm going to have to buy a new box :(

I've spent a fair bit of money recently, what with buying things for the move, but I've not gone overboard. In fact, my account looks ace at the moment!

My living costs have increased with the move, but it's manageable and more than worth it!

Also..... I have been victorious! Claim against Nationwide for bank charges was successful to the tune of £1300 :D:D so far, I've paid off a £500 debt and haven't decided about the remaining £800 yet. I'd like to go away somewhere for a weekend, there are some things I need to buy, and I do have a debt of around £500 which would appreciate being paid off. Not rushing into it tho, the money is quite happy sitting in my account :D

Going well with the Matched Betting too, just passed £500 profit WOOOH :j :j Again, holding onto the bulk of that money until I've amassed enough to make a difference. Some of it was used in the move, but I've got most of it left.

All things considered, everything is quite positive atm :D

    Well hello

Good times! I've been very chilled out the past few weeks, have decided to stop letting certain things annoy me and it's working so far!

Matched betting is going v well, over £1k now :j :j Plus I've still got the majority of my bank charges refund left, deciding what to do with it

I'm doing a variation of C's challenge, no unnecessary spending for four weeks, starting yesterday. So far, 0 spent. I will post a proper budget soon.

Oh, and less than £1k to go in my personal target of debt paid off before june 30th :j :j :j I mean £1k of the whole total, not that £1k is all I have left. Unfortunately!

Not been in here for a while! *dusts off cobwebs*

I've finally got a couple of things sorted! I've had a DCA chasing me since march for a debt that's already paid off and they've finally accepted it, wooh! No more hassle from them. Idiots.

Also, just discovered I have £90 in a bank account I'd forgotten about, double wooh!

Had a really rubbish day yesterday, was feeling quite down and ended up spending over £40 on boots.com on stuff I really don't need. I got aroun £16 of points back but still, not good. Then I thought I'd do some matched betting to make it back but was having immense trouble with it and gave up when I was only half done. It could have gone either way, but I ended up profitting from it :D So overall yesterday I ended up £25 in profit even after boots, so I'm happy with that. And very lucky!
