Right, thought I'd drag this up for the day! My target for June 30th was to be below £15k of debt, and I beat that by just over £200. However, today I've got rid of another .... ..... £2k! Combination of bank charges, matched betting and savings, but it's done. Left things slightly tight for the rest of the month now, but that's no bad thing really. I was getting slightly too complacent about having so much money in the bank!
So anyway, the current amount of debt stands at ......
£12589.57
Ok, that's still a lot, so you might wonder what I've got to be proud of. At the highest point, I owed over £28k so I've paid off over half of it now Coming onto MSE last may, I owed over £20k so I've paid off £7892.10 in a year. A lot of that is down to MSE and all the DFWs who've helped me, either with advice, support or friendship. So, thanks guys :T
On a personal note, I'm much, much happier about my life than I was this time last year. I've moved out of home, been on a couple of wicked holidays, faced up to a few things, made a couple of new friends (something I find really hard!) and have now, just possibly, maybe, potentially, got myself a fella... Early days but we'll see how that goes
Anyway, before this turns into a yay-me fest, I'm going to set my new challenge. I want to owe less than £10k by December 31st. Go team! :TDFW Nerd #104 I :heartpuls my Kittenand my hat :heartpuls
