Oh my gosh!!

I'm having such a weird day! Am now in an outstandingly good mood :D:D

Just rang one of my DCA's to increase one of my payments - cos I'm a good girl - and noticed on the letter that the figure seemed lower than I thought I owed - and it was dated last year!

So I rang, changed my payment amount and asked casually what the outstanding balance is now. And....


wait for it, it's good...


...


£350 less than I thought it was! Wooooohoooooooooo! Whappah! Man, that's such good news! Target back in site, no longer feeling guilty about going away, and parents - huh, what parents?!

Wooooh!

And so I say to everyone who says good things happen when you stay positive - no no no. No no no. Be as depressed as you like and booom! Something good! Yay!

so sorry to hear its all been pants for you......

Did your 'rents say why they wanna put your rent up? Or did they just think they could because you're saving money and making money on your own back that they think they could jump on board?

Its unfair if they haven't given a reason for it. And you shouldnt feel guilty or angry with yourself for living with your parents after the debts. Would have been much worse if you hadnt gone home and just continued the debt spiral?

Anyway I hope you feel better hun... and we're always here for a rant and a moan.........

Well, things are a bit better now. Haven't seen the parents much, perhaps that's why

Went out for a few drinks last night, then been out all day today and only spent £20. I'm pleased with that, I don't go out a whole lot so I'm trying not to feel guilty! Gotta save for my weekend away, so I'm telling me now - NO OVERSPENDING!!

Have sent off my LBA to capital one now, so they've got two weeks to respond before I file my claim. Oh yeah. Hope they don't respond, I quite fancy getting the interest too

I'm confident of hitting my target now, woooh

That's about it. Been getting a lot of headaches lately. Not big ones, just little niggly ones. It's *really* annoying! Very happy it's getting colder and darker though, I'm very much a winter bunny! :j :j

Well, had a letter from Capital One today offering me £123, which is about a third of what I'm claiming. It's surprising that I'm very tempted! Won't be taking it though, I want it all

I'm planning a debt snowball at the minute. The charges will pay back an overdraft. Then I'll claim charges off that and pay off a CC. Then I'll claim charges on that and... you see where I'm going

Or I might just buy a big drink :rotfl:
