  • Yeah its def 2009 she says
  • I have just phoned up, and have been told we have processed your application and your travel expenses should be in your bank account within 7 working days from the 16th

So if you're lucky you'll get it tomorrow. If not you'll need to wait until after Christmas. Ah the joys of 'working days'.

I'm over £750 and my claim has not yet been processed. I didn't rely on it for Christmas but could have done with some money right now. Gutted!

EDIT: Called up and said that I would have to wait until late January, this is due to the fact that the 21 days does not include the time they have off during Christmas. They also said that some of the claims are done by the computer and some are done by person. Now that has messed me a little as I borrowed on the strength of receiving that around the 12th of January.

    On Christmas Day?! Imagine that.

If it gets to the middle of January and you still haven't heard anything, then get in contact with them, but until them just relax. A watched pot never boils and all that.
  • From the SAAS site:

The Agency will be closed over the festive period from 3pm on Thursday 24 December 2009 to Tuesday 5 January 2010. Both our website and our automated telephone service will be available during this time but we will not be able to deal with any specific enquiries until we return.

So guessing no one will be getting anything till the 5th!

Still waiting on mine. The phone message says it's not been assessed yet so looks like I'll have to wait til at least Friday before I canexpect anything. Wishing I had bumped up my claim a little as my cookers died and I could do with a bit more cash now lol

Please tell me you are joking. You should claim for what you have spent/will spend. They can and do check some expenses.
