Just a heads up that Scottish students can now claim travel expenses for the 2009/2010 term through the SAAS website.

seems abit weird applying i did.
17 weeks = £187
13 weeks = £143
9 weeks = £99
39 weeks course travel cost £429 at £11 per week mega rider. On saas form it says 5000 i am applying for not sure why its saying that any ideas anyone.0 -
You need to enter £11 beside the number of weeks as it is the cost per week.:jStand And Deliver ! :j0

mine works out to be 110 per 4 weeks, but it says im claiming over £1000 as well!

You shouldn't be receiving £1,100. The maximum they can give out is £995, and that is for an independent student.0 -

Plus they give you the amount you would receive if you went by the cheapest method of travel. I put in a claim for travelling by car, though the expenses paid to me last year were worked out on travelling by bus as this was the cheapest method as thoeretically i could get the bus to uni. I applied first thing yesterday morning, been waiting for it for ages!
Mines comes to £700 odds, minus the £160 they take off i should get about £5000 -
Your possibly right about the amount now I think about it. Either way I get whatever the max is.0
