..... and finally a day off for me! The only one before the children finish for Christmas though so plenty to do.
So far this morning I have been through all the hidey holes and checked that I have actually finished the Christmas present shopping. I have also been to the Co-op and the Farm Shop, and bought the last few bits I need for the Christmas Meals and Drinks. Where is the smug (and slightly stunned) smiley when you need it? I will just need to do a minor village shop top up for fresh fruit next week. I hate food shopping with the children, and I hate home delivery so this is a result.
The house on the other hand is nowhere near ready so I must crack on with that today. The attic is spotless, and empty. Even the garage is tidy because DH did it last week when he was off. Plenty of opportunities for substitutions though.
HHC 10.45-11.15 anyone?
Tooch - might be worth looking at a netbook instead of a laptop? There is a nice Samsung for £200. Fine for internet and a bit of messing about - not up to games or anything but will he actually play them?'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
