Just checked and I have one due 27th so I'm setting it up online now to pay because of all the bank holidays - I don't know if there is any leniency with the banks (AnW'sMum?) but I'm not risking it

There will be no grace from the banks or other companies (generally) as everyone should know when Christmas is and what the bank holidays are (Fri for Christmas Day and Monday for Boxing Day). Just bear in mind as well that cheques generally take 3 working days to clear, NOT counting the day you pay them in, So if you pay a cheque in on Tuesday then it won't be cleared for withdrawal until 30th Dec  and if you pay in on Christmas Eve (24th) then it won't clear until next year!!! (4th January at the earliest)
Even here, the snow has melted a fair bit but we have lethal black ice now instead. Church was "interesting" to get to even after salting the paths - and this evenings carol service promises to be more slippery. So guess who'll be wearing walking boots, wrapped up like like a barrage baloon to offer a steady arm for any who need it?

Loads of people have cried off from our Carol service, including us :( Mum and Dad are walking down (Dad is church warden) to see if any one does turn up. The organist has called to say he won't be there. I am going to cook dinner for when they come back, pork and cranberry sausage with mash, veg and gravy :D
In fact my cup runneth over, since I have ex MIL and the current MIL in the house at the same time.

HHC was good, got the DW emptied and reloaded. Washed all the non DW friendly stuff. Cleared all the work surfaces and the top of the microwave which was a terrible hotspot!
Doesnt sound like much and cant really strike anything off my list but the place looks better for it:D Will have a wee rest before i do another HHC

    Holly what is snowman soup?

This http://www.essentialpackagingstore.com/projects/snowmansoup.php is Snowman soup. I usually use choc chips instead of M & Ms though. I need to get some more hot chocolate before i can make any.

Hi all, been out to Aldi, picked up some of those poaching pods that Lakeland do...£1.49 in Aldi.

Also got some other bits and pieces so think all food shopping is well done.

Tidied out the car and binned 2 bags of rubbish.

    Back home now

    DW X2

Going to do a list of jos for us all on the whiteboard to see what we can achieve.

Went to collect a reserved item form Argos, very cheesed off that it had 'disappeared'....not impressed. Anyway they reserved one for me at another store which I'll have to try to get to tomorrow now.

Having a little resty and the normal (fairly rubbish) service will be resumed.

Argh that was fatal. just been on the Lakeland site, they have 50% some stuff.:j
