Been to the shop. No white chocolate, but they did have evaporated milk, cream and chillies, so I'm going to make some mince pies and then make myself respectable and head off. I remembered why I had the green turban on... I put an intensive conditioning treatment on and hadn't taken it off  so need to make sure that the water is hot for another shower.

Well washing machine on yet again, no murders committed yet...but if MIL doesn't stop unfolding my hand towels and refolding them the way she wants them...

In fact my cup runneth over, since I have ex MIL and the current MIL in the house at the same time.

eta greenbee have you tried a cracklelog, its not v.green, and the lazy/busy woman's method of firelighting, but good for when you are exhausted and freezing cold.

e again ta sexymouse good to hear you sounding more your usual self.

In fact...combined ages of the 8 people in the house, 331 years!

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
