Hey Rosepink, saw this last night and replied, your experience and Johanne's info has saved someone else from being taken in and scammed. Shocking that these ads are still being placed on Gumtree though.

    Afternoon all!

Have spent the morning decluttering the living room. It was an absolute tip, as I opened my pressies from the kids on Friday, and as I was so tired, went to bed before I went out, so didn't tidy up. I swear I could open a chocolate shop with the amount of chocs I've already got, and I know I'll be getting some more from M&D as I bought myself some Lindor truffles as I love them, and my Dad traditionally gives all of us a chocolate orange (I have 2 already). Breakfast today was a leftover cereal bar from my lunchbox and a chocolate shortbread biscuit that was in the M&S selection box OH brought home from work. lol.

Off to my Nana's in a bit to give her her birthday bits for tomorrow. Think I may take a trip to Aldi and Mr A whilst I'm over there and do the food shop there instead of locally. Better call my Mum and change the plans.

    Take care everyone,

    sexymouse xx

Lots of washing up done by hand, and lots of stuff tidied and wiped. Downstairs hoovered. Next stop is getting the fire lit again (I'm trying to use the logs from the garage up, but they're hard work, and there's quite a lot of last night's left in there), and to keep going clearing up in the kitchen. Then the sitting room coffee table. Oh yes... and I need to water the christmas tree!

Ishtar (((hugs))) for you and STOP being silly and putting yourself last - you are the glue that holds everybody together so if you fall apart then so does everyone which makes the situation so much worse honey as you well know. take HV advice and look after yourself and do not be overdoing it - do not be tryinmg to complete the whole list - just do enough that you are happy and the place is acceptable - you want to enjoy christmas too not be a total wreck -if someone offers help you make sure you tak and thats an order:rotfl: take care now.

Thanks lovey, you're absolutely right...Over the past couple of days I've been being just a bit more selfish. Not so that anyone will notice too much (and my babies still come first), but just getting things done for myself. I will give myself a manicure later on today - haven't done them for about 8 weeks and my nails are shocking.

I've just come back from my riding lesson (it was minus 3 deg C ) and I'm feeling quite refreshed. There's a lot to be doing for the rest of today, but I'm taking it steady. DS is asleep, DD is playing quietly and OH is doing something on his computer - working most likely.

I've got 2 Christmas cakes to ice and 2 Dundee cakes to put onto boards and make them look pretty, a few more presents to wrap and a late lunch to cook. Plus some bits and pieces from the lists.

Am definitely pacing myself....and waiting for the offer of help to appear....:p OH will get the hint eventually....

    Take care
    D

  • Hello everyone!

Triker, well done on spotting that thread, I've posted on there as well. Glad those people realised it was a scam before they got ripped off.

I feel really sorry for those people on the trains that got stuck in the tunnel, and for the mum who's baby got kidnapped from the police station, she must be out of her mind with worry. (Can you tell I've just watched the news! LOL)

It's freezing here. I've not made it out to my Bible meeting as woke up feeling rubbish, but going to try and get in the bath before DH gets home as I really stink! It looks really pretty, I've been admiring how lovely it is out of the window.

    Today my flying plans are:
    wash up
carry on clearing up in the corner by the bed

I started this yesterday, had a big clear up of floordrobe and a pile of stuff and discovered that there is tons of mould behind there and going into (or out of) my shoe cupboard - I need to get all the stuff tidied up and then DH and I can tackle the shoe cupboard, we need to empty it and tackle all the mould on th wall and in the cupboard. The clothes in the floordrobe were either soaking wet or smelt really musty so they have gone in the wash. I really need to keep that area tidy and well ventilated.

I promise I will catch up with all your news - sorry I've not been around much lately - RL keeps getting in the way!

Love and hugs to all, especially Lady Liberty and Diva
