I've gone back to the original plan and am going to design a little voucher for my godson for an afternoon out with me, including painting a cereal bowl! I think someone on here suggested it (Valli i think). I've found a cafe in Greenwich so we could have a nice afternoon out, going on the train etc.

I've watched a casualty, still one left on the box and no sign of DH so may watch that once I've made another cuppa.. Brrr, it's cold in here! I guess I could wrap DH's stocking stuff whilst I'm at it.

Well, DH has just surfaced so bang goes that idea!

I'll have my cuppa anyway, design this voucher and then perhaps I'll get dressed myself and start to do something constructive!

Grr, just hit something and lost a post!

Chilli jam is ok but not jelly enough yet -not sure if it'll set more overnight but if not i believe i can reboil it tomorrow?!
I often find, with jam, that it takes a good few hours to really set. If not you can,of course, reboil but you will lose some IYSWIM. I have only reboiled once:D
Morning all. My target today is to get to the bottom of the ironing basket, do Mr S order, and not to murder anyone.

I'm dead flattered that you are using this idea - my mum always refers to days like this as 'creating happy memories' - so the gift will be the day out with 'Auntie Rach' and a super souvenir to remember his day out with you. Remember to take pictures of the work in progress!

WM x 2, and TD x 1 (all on cheap rate -I love walking up my garden to my TD in the shed at 5:30 in the morning (not:rotfl:) I wake up and then I feel guilty about NOT putting the TD on on cheap rate. I can't get back to sleep until I put it on. I have used the TD so much these past few weeks though...last year I KNOW I was pegging out in December!
Have phoned mum up to see what she would like! Oh - and I no longer have to iron 'downhill' - I hadn't realised how bad my old ironing board was sloping unitl I ironed on the level! And Greenbee as I know I will be going to the recycling with the old board I am saving juice cartons to take there, too *glow*.

Well I'm clean now, and so's the bathroom :D

Better find my list and then go and face downstairs... oh, and call my brother sometime as we really need to finalise presents/stockings/stuff to take home.

I suppose I should look at the weather forecast and see whether we should be making contingency plans... what are the chances of not being able to get from Hampshire to Norfolk on either a. wednesday (me) or b. xmas eve (him & SIL)?

Valli - I think it'll be a lovely day and I've just designed a nice voucher for him. I'll need to get a little something for him to open, but that's ok.

I think the jam is going to go as it is, it's for eating with cold meats etc so not the end of the world if it's a bit runny.

DH sounds to be washing up, I should go and show willing to help I guess!
