I filled my maiden with ironing - first outing for new board - DD offered to do it yesterday (clearly equally impressed with new board) but I wouldn't let her :rotfl:
then I nipped to the shop for essential before kids come home.
Folded drying and some of rads to finish off
I am equally relaxed re xmas so much so that I stuill haven't finished my gift shopping BUT I actually don't care.
Work Monday though - and I have remembered that one of my colleagues was taking pictures so no doubt will have to admire self and dance partner on Monday...

ETA My very thrilled daughter has named her new 'babies' Mojave and Mistletoe
(Her previous two were named after deserts but as one of these is white a slight change in naming patterns has occurred.)
She went in her room - didn't notice and had to be sent back in 'to look'!

Hi everyone.:hello: Hope your all well, sorry i've been missing in action but it's been really busy here.

:j:j:jI've got my new kitchen in :j:j:jwell ok I have 3/4 of my new kitchen in (B&Q messed up on the rest, it should be here in March, no joke) but i'm still over the moon.:j:j:j

Mine you, talk about saw dust everywhere and my flippin hoover is on the blink so it's been brush and pan all week. My cooker hood was the wrong size so it had to be changed today, so new one will be up this week as well as the kick board put on. Should be rightly done for christmas. Just waiting on my drawers and a unit.

I've now got all kiddies presents sorted for christmas, just need to get parents, aunties, uncles, brother, sister and then all in laws which i'll get done tuesday.:o I'm cutting it so fine this year.

We've also done 5 loads to the dump this week which is brilliant, attic is nearly empty.:j

Right i need to change bedding in the kiddies room and get them all bathed and to bed.

    Weekend list.
    1) Move pressies to a safer place.
    2) Sort through and make sure all is there.
    3) Find bottom of washing basket.
    4) Bake some goodies.
    5) Finish attic, the rest belongs to FIL so needs to be left down.
    6) Try and fix the hoover.
    7) Do at least 2 hours in our room.

    That will do for now.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Just checked and I have one due 27th so I'm setting it up online now to pay because of all the bank holidays - I don't know if there is any leniency with the banks (AnW'sMum?) but I'm not risking it

Well, I've been a busy bee

Fudge has been made (and you're right Valli, it's STILL not properly set, 3 hours later!). The first stage of the trifle is complete. I have seriously scrubbed out the kitchen - including doing the inside of the windows AGAIN. I have a pheasant casserole cooking in the oven. I have moved all the presents from dotted around the house into the front room ready for stocktaking. I have washed my bedding and remade it and dysoned again (even though I only did it the other day!).

I am now about to nuke some chestnuts so I can whizz them up to add to a stuffing for tomorrow.

    I think I may flop v. soon!

And old tree and a game I tripped over rehomed via Freegle/Netmums (stc). I will have my house back!

Now is a tree and a decorated mantlepiece too minimalist for children - not really in the mood for stuff everywhere this year. Maybe a small tree on the sideboard as well?

    before bedtime I must:
wrap the Christmas and Birthday presents we need to deliver
find the bits my dad wants downloading
Find something to download them to
    sort clothes for the morning
check if my mum wants jam jars and egg boxes
put the annoying monsters to bed at a sensible time. 6.35 sounds good to me if not to them.

all done as far as possible, and the boys are snoring merrily.

Time for a cup of tea in the bath.

Valli - what a sweetie your DS is. That bought a tear to my eye!

I've finally got round to listing the children's riding hats and body protectors for sale after I bought all the stuff and then they went off riding (thank goodness, I couldn't watch them even though I spent most of my childhood round horses). I'm hoping it might bring some money in for DD's school trip next year.

Just going to s/s the kitchen. I've also washed stripes bed for the second time this week after she threw up on it. Darling dog!

Snowing heavily here. Frodders - I don't know about you but I'm definitely more cautious since my wrist. I'm just not going out until the snow's gone.

    Hugs to all xx

Yey meal plans done until after christmas, online shop tweaked - so hope they don't cancel it due to bad weather

So glad lots of us are more relaxed this year, we have worked hard and may I add my huge thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for getting us this far.
