Thank you Toots, pigpen and everyone else as I feel like this is the most relaxed Christmas ever. Every room is clean and tidy (I don't count the hall as that is a builder's yard) and pressies are wrapped and ready for Christmas. I wouldn't feel like this if it wasn't for all your guidance and support.

    Can I second this :T

Lil_me[/B belated hugs. It is a difficult time, I know. but you have been amazing with both your boys and hopefully now that DS2 is diagnosed too you will be able to get the extra support he needs.

GandB I am so sorry to hear that your LO has been poorly again. I do hope that things can be sorted out for her soon. Hugs and prayers for you both.

Hugs Triker, Blimey you have had a hard time of it lately. I am pleased too that the lady in Morrisons was so generous.

No hugs for pigpenn but I am thinking of you:)

Hugs for those of you who have had car trouble and bumps. I hope you get things sorted soon. Mine is still blocked in here by snow.

rose I hope things are okay for you too. Thinking of you

Must get back to my knitting and stick some potatoes in the oven for later.

DPs Dad lands at 7am from hols, just trying to help him avoid any major issues. If all else fails he might end up taking my car to get them, see if we can find someone near Manchester airport to look after his Dad's

Snowing again here. Been to farm & ordered my meats, no turkey this time (I left it too late & we prefer chicken) got some lovely local (ish) cheeses to start my festive stash. Pork & chesnut sausages to do in the week to hopefully get us in the mood, he's doing pork & cranberry too mmmm. Going to phone my Dad later make sure they are ok, farm track not passable in his car if snow is bad, him & his fiancee are diabetic so worrying. We got 6 boxes sorted, loads chucked out, DP didnt put the ones in garage yet as he got up @ 3.30pm when it was dark (got in after 5am)

DP trying to get into town for work @ the mo, he's struggling in the 4x4 so I think he might not pick the taxi up, we could do with the ££ but better him being safe, town is at a standstill.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Evening all!

Happy belated birthday to Crafty, and Happy birthday to AnW'sMum. Hope you both had fantastic days.

Hugs to Triker, Rach and her family, Msgnomey, me, pigpen, GnB, ffp, Diva, toots, rosepink, Zoe and anyone else who would like one. Hope all of your luck improves soon.

Thank you to everyone for their cards and ecards, and to LadyL for doing such a fantastic job as postie. Glad you enjoyed the breakfast - I had a really good time too - we must all do the meet-up in Gunwharf, as suggested this morning, over the Christmas holidays.

Any flyladies interested in meeting at Gunwharf Quays over the holidays?

Had a nice afternoon too after I left LadyL and her DH, as I went out with my Mum. Visited a nursery and managed to get my Nana a really pretty white, bleeding into a delicate mauvey pink coloured cyclamen (sp?) for her birthday which is on Monday (92). Also went to West Dean and looked at the art show and had tea and cake in the cafe. Picked up the bag of presents that my Mum has bought herself so that I can wrap them - there are loads!!! Hope I've got enough paper - I'm going to be wrapping the presents that my sister and my Dad are giving her too!

Had a great time at the supply teaching pub quiz on Thursday night - met some lovely people, and we came 3rd! :) I also won a huge tin of quality street in the raffle that was in aid of the charity Mind. Got lots of presents at school yesterday and we got to go home early because of the snow. Then last night, I went out for one of the teacher's leaving dos with her and a few TAs from school, and had a great time there too, even though I wasn't drinking, and didn't get home until 2.30am this morning. Seen any fairies recently LadyL? lol

Feeling a bit tired now as I think all of the caffeine I've consumed today is starting to wear off.

Think I'll have a little nap before making the dinner tonight.

    sexymouse xx

Since last posting we have had about 4 inches of snow. Im near the coast so heaven only knows what its like further inland. Ive not done any flying either. Theres alwys tomorrow. When I got my wii I got Sports Resort with it. So decided to have a look. So Ive played table tennis, basketball, canooed.

TAG Have had the heating on here most of the day. Glad I got thermostat fitted. Might leave it on overnight and just turn the thermostat down.
lil_me I think the snow will be much worse down your way. My sister lives in that direction and its always bad there.

    before bedtime I must:
wrap the Christmas and Birthday presents we need to deliver
find the bits my dad wants downloading
Find something to download them to
    sort clothes for the morning
check if my mum wants jam jars and egg boxes
put the annoying monsters to bed at a sensible time. 6.35 sounds good to me if not to them.
