Valli I am please she likes them :)

DPs on his way home, worried about £ but would have been more worried about him. Dad is fine when he eventually answered phone, his fiancee's son bought a 4x4 so not as worried now. Silly sister phoned to ask if I will tow her DPs friend back from Crook, was told not a hope in heck, is she insane? Oh anyway DP is near a shop **cringe** unfortunately Tesco which I no longer use but needs must, so he's getting bread, milk & juice we need to put us over if it gets worse. I think he's going to cancel tomorrows club meet, not 100% yet but the issue is contacting people, hmm. His Dad's flight is expected on time so far (loads cancelled) but I have been calling hotels just incase, some have vacancies so that is ok as standby.

Slightly less worried about £ as I just opened todays post, interest free for 12 month CC, I might hate debt but saves the worry, there if I need it. I am a little concerned they gave me it when I don't work but element of it is pleased my credit history (which was shockingly bad) must be improving

Right I best chase tiddly peeps to bed, stay safe everyone, ttfn x
One day I might be more organised...........

    Good evening everyone,

I had such good intentions at the beginning of the week but have ended up having the week from hell. DS had an accident at work and ended up having to have an operation so I have been somewhat distracted. I was feeling I had Christmas all under control but now I am really going to have to get my act together or Christmas may still not happen. DS came out of hospital today so that's something. Will we be getting any lists during the next 2 weeks?

Pillion lots of love for you both, I hope he gets better quickly with no lasting damage. Please don't stress - Christmas is but one day and the most important thing is the health and happiness of those close to us.

You HAVE all been busy :T:T:T:T

Hugs all round - especially pillion

Valli - your DS is obviously a very thoughtful brother. I've got one of those... annoyed me 90% of the time but is a complete star when it matters.

Spent the day in London decorating a christmas cake (night sky with polar bears and trees, snowflakes, glitter etc... pictures to follow sometime) which was lovely. Stopped off for a cup of tea with a friend on the way home.

Station carpark wasn't gritted, so very slippery this morning (and when I got back). All the snow had melted in London, so it was a bit of a shock to find out that it's still the same here!

Fire is going VERY slowly... I need to give it some tlc.

Since I got back I've caught up on here. I need to put some thread on some baubles, then think I'm going to have an early night, as I'm shattered, and tomorrow I want to do my lists, deal with the backlog of paperwork and make a plan for between now and Christmas

Yey meal plans done until after christmas, online shop tweaked - so hope they don't cancel it due to bad weather

So glad lots of us are more relaxed this year, we have worked hard and may I add my huge thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for getting us this far.

Feel sorry for all those stuck on road and trains.

What????? I've just tweaked mine - and I was feeling quite happy until you said that!!!!:eek::eek:

I don't know if I feel more relaxed - I think I'm just not that bothered! I do want to finish hemming my new curtains (well, I say new, but I bought the material in the January Sales, and made them in February half term - bar the hems..:o)

But even if I haven't done all the lists every week, I don't have a massive panic clean to do, so thank you to pigpen, soappie and toots!!

pillion - huge hugs to you and very good wishes for a speedy recovery for your DS.

Thank you for all my lovely cards! They arrived today, and I really enjoyed opening them, accompanied by a cup of tea and a mince pie! Big kiss thank you to Lady-Liberty for sorting them all!
