Yes indeed, this chap is quite right most of the major players will not touch this guy so he buys from someone else (another pile em high and sell cheap merchant) so hardly makes anything on it. Word is he will not be around much longer but will reappear in NW London, in Colindale, calling himself Tile King...you have been warned!!0

Of course like many I did not even think of looking for reviews for JA Bathrooms before placing my order. They were so incredibly helpful before they had my money, and then an absolute nightmare once I paid. Luckily via a credit card as they are working to get the refund for me.
Like many reviews before, goods did not turn up, when chasing I had the phone slammed down on me. They even lead me to believe they were in liquidation, and I would not get the goods. So I re-ordered from another supplier.
Then 2 weeks later than promised the goods were dumped outside the house. Now I cannot get hold of anyone.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU THRIVE ON STRESS!!0 -
JA Bathrooms. What can I say. Had I had the fore thought to read this forum I would definitely not have ordered my bathroom from JA Bathrooms. I placed my order on 18th May for over two thousand pounds worth of bathroom fittings and a shower, from my hard earnt cash. And what has happened you guessed no bathroom fittings received. They made all sorts of promises and gave me delivery dates but no deliveries took place. I made so many phone calls and sent email after email but still no delivery. By the end of June I was so fed up I cancelled my order and Barclaycard gave me a refund.
However today I have received a letter from Barclaycard saying that as it was a special order and according to the terms and conditions I could not cancel my order and Barclaycard are going to recharge me. I was absolutly horrified, I felt sick and wanted to cry. I have calmed down a bit and have been onto Barclaycard and to Trading Standards Office in Southend and will be taking this up with the Small Claims Court if Barclaycard recharge me. I have not seen any Terms and conditions from JA Bathrooms and it is only when I received a copy of the order, in July, that I had even heard of Eurowood Products. I feel more upset that I have been a sucker and that this company can be allowed to get away with such awful practices. They even had the audacity to say that they had lost my order and it was only when Barlclaycard contacted them that they realised that the goods they had out the back were mine and they then even tried to deliver some of the goods in August but only part of the order and I refused delivery.

I think I'd point out to Barclaycard that the goods weren't personalised or made to measure and therefore aren't special order items. JA tried to hit me with that one. They didn't get very far. Don't take it lying down.0

Keep fighting hard with your credit card company. Keep documents and dates regarding all contact with J A Bathrooms as evidence. I eventually got my money back, but it was the credit card company that paid up as a 'gesture of good will' as they said they had not handled my refund request as efficiently as they should have, great I got my money back but so annoying that J A Bathrooms got away with it. Trading standards were helpful, but too short staffed to deal with J A Bathrooms as they should. I'd really like to see this crowd of conmen get their just deserts.0

Hi I have experienced the same problems as other people - They are quick to take your money but that is it. I have now been without a bath since Tues and no sign it will be here before the end of the week. I would think very carefully about using this company. Will now be involving my credit card company to get my money back0 -
Also had problems with this company:
Order was not delivered when stated, made many attempted to get into contact but couldnt get through on the phone and when i finally did was assured that everything would arrive the next day and a bath would be sourced for monday. upon delivery the next day i was informed that the shower was also missing and that the bath was NOT guaranteed for monday. & i promptly asked to cancel my order and receive a full refund. Nothing happened over the weekend so i called back to again, ask for a refund where the manager (joe i’m assuming) outright refused saying that he didnt think he should give a refund as “he had done everything he could” I am currently in the process of seeking legal advice against the company.
Please stay well clear of this company and take your business elsewhere.
I also recommend paying with a credit card (mastercard) as you will have far more consumer rights than paying with a debit card.0 -
I am pleased to advise that I have now had my money given back to me by Barclaycard. However Barclaycard say that they have lost their case against JA Bathrooms but as they had not delivered my goods in a reasonable time, ie not delivered the goods at all, they have given me a full credit. Barclaycard however are still attempting to recover the money from JA Bathrooms. I am now going to a local reputable company for my bathroom fittings.:j I may have to pay a little more but I think it is worth it.0

Wish I had read this thread before purchasing a Carron bath with these muppets. Usual story, very helpful when taking my money, then 1 month later still no goods after promises of delivery which dont materialize. It is impossible to speak to sales directly, they take your number and never call you back.
Cancelled the order, I am now chasing a refund through my credit card company. Aslo been in touch with trading standards.
Just to let you all know: YOU MUST, MUST CONTACT TRADING STANDARDS IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH COMPANIES LIKE THESE.
When I spoke to trading standards I told them that the internet is awash with complaints about JA Bathrooms. They told me that THEY CAN ONLY ACT UPON COMPLAINTS MADE DIRECTLY TO TRADING STANDARDS.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Over the last 2 years i've done 2 DIY bathrooms and ordered thousands of pounds of gear online with many internet based companies, THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY EVER.
