I've always wanted to sell something that I make, and I've got all the things I've made in my basket ready to buy...first costs would be £40, though, due to needing equipment, and postage. I've looked at people selling similar and they are making sales, so should I go for it?
I'm scared of throwing away money!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
I have decided that the bingo sites and what not are not a way for me to push on in this challenge.Win none loss of £17 and all because i got carried away. I think the most i will ever gamble again is the odd dabble on the footie.
Have now got 6 items on ebay terrible effort i know but have had the family around the last 2 days due to the weather, a few items have a bit of interest but nothing moving just yet. Keeping the faith though. Also found some mini dics in the loft not sure what to do with these yet as i think there could be a bit more than ebay open to these.
Proper work starts tomorrow and no excuses house is empty all day.2010 comp winsTurn £100 into £10k challenge £0/£10k member 2540 -

New to this site, but would love to join your Turn £100 into 10K in 2010
I have some ebay experience so this shouldn't be a problem0 -

79 items uploaded to ebay just now, fingers crossed for some bids0

Now gone 11pm - took all night reading the posts instead of earning any money putting stuff on Ebay!!!
Could we have a thread just for ideas and seperate one for updates?
Takes so long to read everything and chit chat isn't useful to anyone.
Hope I'm not offending anyone.0 -
Just tried out Turbo Lister for the first time and can see how it will be useful when I work it out but ... probably the longest time it has ever taken me to list one item (trying it out). No matter what I do I cannot get it to synchronise changes that I made to the layout of the format. When I do a synchronise, it goes through it, says it is all done but when I check the listing, nothing has changed and when I check in Turbo Lister the item says it was last synchronised an hour ago (when I first created the listing). Very frustrating as I have tried over and over to sort it, right clicking on the item to synchronise and using the main toolbar. Anyway, I am sure it will all work out in the wash and the item is not a major one so hopefully not a huge impact but I am now done listing for tonight with the major achievement of badly listing 1 item ...:rotfl:. Class act me. At least I listed a few books on Amazon, taking a grand total of 2 minutes
. Tomorrow is another day
.
Edit: It is the way you hold your face ... went back 20 minutes later, hit the synchronise button and it worked. No drama"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0 -
Well I've been trying to catch up on this thread for 4 days and its just not possible! So I would like to join please. I've just been signed off for 4 weeks today so I have far too much time to fill, and since I'm signed off as I appear to have torn the cartiledge in my knee, I can't do much that involves moving at all (being a very active person this is killing me!) so this challenge shoud give me something to focus on.
I already do a lot of extra income earners and the like, but for this I will only be counting money gained through industrious efforts ie selling on ebay, etsy, at craft fairs and car boots and the like, rather than my existing income earners of writting reviews, using quidco and so on.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Kinda agree 82much - it can be offputting for newcomers to the thread to read right through - especially as the challenge has only been going for 6 days !!
Not sure how best to go about it
The chitchat is useful as I think a lot of us are trying to join up to a community spirit too. For me this is like dieting. If you diet it has a start date and an end date. Then its over. Healthy eating however suggests a lifetime change of habits and outlook. I kinda see this thread as having the ability to change my financial planning and ability to make money for the long term, not just the 365 days of the challenge. And with a list of over 250 people, I think there needs to be chit chat to keep people involved in this challenge. We will get to know who has kids, why they are doing this challenge, if they get married, if they lose a loved one etc.. This is a supportive thread as well as factual. I hope to make some very good friends from this.
But as I said I do agree that the thread is running away from us !
They have a daily chat thread on one of the forums which expires at midnight and they create another. Does anyone think we could do similar? Maybe " £100 to £10,000 daily chat " or weekly chat? This could be for kicks up the bum, or new ideas or what do you think about ...VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID
Airpods repayment £249 £185 £75.90 PAID

I quite like the chat, its motivational...it'll destroy the thread a bit if we seperate it out, a lot of ideas are got from the general chat. Maybe we could summarize important bits each night though, to stop people having to read lots?
I just keep it open and read the last page if I miss some, but I can understand that it moves fast!
I still haven't bought the stuff yet, I'm waiting for a burst of confidence!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0
