Strange, cos you seem to be keeping your head in the sand with your "I can't hear you", fingers in ears mentality than accept the fact that numerous people have posted to tell you that they fully accept they probably won't reach 10,000 and that we're here for the fun.whitegoods_engineer wrote: »Good luck to you.
Thanks!whitegoods_engineer wrote: ȣ10,000 is just a simply unrealistic amount in my opinion for the vast majority of people.
Thank you for your opinion, now you've made it clear over several posts I trust you have no further reason to post in this thread. I will refer to my fellow thread posters and again extend an invitation to check in on us at the end of the year and see how we did.0 -
Guys don't waste time procastinating writing retorts, the smart thing to do is use your Ignore List once and be done! My time is better spent elsewhere. Off to post on the bay now.

Again, you make assumptions about me. SOME people do get lucky. SOME people do go against the odds. but that is SOME people. Not all, Not Most, Not many! Just SOME.
Good luck to anybody taking on any challenge. Go for it, just bear in mind that MOST people will fail any challenge.
Tell me how this statement is incorrect "Most people signed up to this challenge will not turn £100 into £10,000. (or anywhere near for that matter)
We should all realise that the statement is likely to be true, but there will be people who steadfastly refuse to see the wood for the trees!0 -
Just sold one of my Chemistry textbooks on Play! £14 into the kitty :T0

Well, you'll be pleased to hear I shall retire from this thread but but good luck anyway!0

Hello lovely peeps, not got round to updating yet but found a few bits of cheques and p os in drawers so will sort out and then update.
Whitegoods, obviously you're entitled to your opinion but I personally started this challenge as I'm the WORST procrastinator and know what I 'should' be doing, but actually getting round to it??
It's a bit like going to a dieting club to give you the support to lose weight. We all know what we should/shouldn't be eating but it's just not that easy. Can't stop - addicted to the shindig.0 -
I can't see a wood...or any trees for that matter...but I'm gonna try my little socks off to get as close to the 10k TARGET as I can
I think most people will try their hardest too! After all, its the willingness to try and to at least make an effort that should be applauded..not the actual sums involved. JMO anyhoo.. ;o)

So, can this be added to my pot as it was done off the back of being motivated by this thread???
Also planning on shaving off £20 week off my food shopping, so can this be added?
Can't make up my mind whether this would be fair....:o
Of course you can add it ! (remember there are no rules)
You did the work into saving it ,and you'll see the benefit.....thats great......I hope this inspires others to look through their spending, they too may find areas where they can save ! Thankyou :T:T:T"Do not let what you can't do interfere with what you can do."0
