:rotfl:I guess your down at the minute as what you say is absolute bullsh!t.With that type of attitude, you'll never be anyone or get anywhere.Stop feeling sorry for yourself,we all have a story, but we're all doing something about it.You can too-but you have to believe you can do it.So what if you have a shortfall of £9000.00-you'll still be £1000.00 better off !
If you want something out of life, you'll have to grab it by the horns and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
Reality check in order............
Errr... I'm actually doing allright thank you very much but via WORKING!
By the same logic, make £101 and you are at least £1 better off :rotfl:

As for this thread, its so rosy-coloured and whimsical that you can simply turn £100 into £10,000 that people are falling into self deluding optimism. Using the same logic, why not call it £1 into a million! Its the penny stall to Marks and Spencer dream!
This is the flawed logic of the chessboard and rice, where you place 1 grain of rice on the first square, then 2 grains for the next, then 4 on the next square and keep doubling. By the last square, you've got enough grains of rice to circle the universe or something like that!
I know I will be accused of raining on the OP's parade but I think a reality check is in order for this thread. Very few if any people will turn £100 into £10,000 unless they have bags of luck thrown into the mix!
I feel it is unfair to give people, some of whom are in dire circumstances, the belief that money can be generated so easily in this manner.
I think the point is that £10000 is something to aim for. If it was £100 into £1000 it wouldn't be much of a challenge would it? Also a lot of people here, like myself, are using this challenge to help kick start a new ebay business. If nothing else this thread offers lots of advice and support for this alone. We may not all end up earning £10000 through ebay, dooyou ect but it is a nice figure to aspire to.0 -
whitegoods_engineer - have you ever heard the saying 'that nothing is impossible'?
The people on this threa may not make 10k. Some may make 5k and some may make 20k but at least they can say they tried. At the end of the day thats why its called a challenge.
At least we are trying!0 -

we all know that-I'm not disputing the figures-but why dampen peoples optimism.....if it's not for you then bye bye:hello::hello::hello:"Do not let what you can't do interfere with what you can do."0 -

I think you'll find that the majority of us on this thread DO HAVE A JOB already, be it working self employed running an ebay business, working for a shop somewhere or just a SAH mum .. all jobs, all working for a living.0 -

It is funny how any comment which is made via a forum which does not follow a blind unchallenged mantra is referred to as Trolling!
Now if somebody comes on here and posts pointlessly negative comments, maybe that could be considered trolling.
I however have posted a comment which challenges this simplistic notion of turning £100 into £10,000 within a year. Sure it COULD be done and somebody COULD achieve it. Just like I COULD win the lottery or be selected as Nasa's next astronaut.
My point is simply this:- You need to put a likelihood figure on any possible scenario. For the vast majority of people pledging their adherence to this 'challenge' the chace of success must be in the low single-figure percentage.
Go ahead, do your best, dream the dream but be realistic. I would guess that turning £100 into £500 would be a more achieveable challenge to set!
Please note that just because somebody inserts a reality check into a thread does not mean theperson is a troll. I am certainly no Troll!0 -
Ah yes £500 may be an acheivable target but its all about staying positive!0
