Quick question- I have an electric guitar i bought years ago that is barely used (bought with all intentions of learning but never got round to it ); do guitars get much on ebay- had a quick search and they seem to be very mixed bag- didnt know if better to take to a guitar shop and do it that way?
If anyone has any knowledge of the best way to sell this i would be eternally grateful!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -

That's a good idea, i was just thinking that they could make nice presents for the more maturepeople in my family, plus cut down my shopping bill
Stop trying to keep up with the Jones, as they're trying to keep up with the Smith's0 -
IMO Guitars tend to be in the region of 'Specialist' stuff.
Normally people who buy them know exactly what they want and have done their research etc, so there's a lot of factors involved. take it to the shop and ask the guy nicely what its worth. and maybe what he'll take for it aswellCredit card: [STRIKE]£2533.30[/STRIKE] £0 as of July '16!Overdraft: [STRIKE]£1700[/STRIKE]£0 as of July '16!Aim:Save for a working trip to New Zealand leaving late 2016/ early 2017!0 -

Okay I have just invested my first £45 and if I have done my sums correctly I could have £400 profit out of my items! All of a sudden my OH has taken an interest when I mentioned the profit part and even offered to give me £45 to pay for them! lol
I'm going to hit a few charity shops next week as we seem to have loads in our little town and they are near DS's nursery so quite handy once I have dropped him off for a few hours.Total Debt [STRIKE]£36323[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Dec 2012[/STRIKE] £19000 January 20160 -

Hi Focus888 they ahve changed the rules the last couple of days, you can only withdraw £50 at any one time, and you can not deposit funds to make it up to this.... most of us are now staying well clear of BB now as they now have their knickers in a twist, realised they left themselves wide open... but they have changed it so much even the proper bingo players are going to be miffed...:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -
Feeling a bit naffed with this today.
Got up at 5am to go car booting and ended up spending a grand total of £7.50 on a kids chair that my mum is going to re-cover, a small carltonware dish some supposedly collectable buttons (blame my sis for that one) and a lbook from 1945 on radio frequencies. I'm counting expenses as part of my £100 so £2.40 in petrol and 30p admission means spend of £10.20 so far
I thought about aquiring from freecycle to sell (as per an earlier suggestion) but decided that it was morally a bit dodgy. I have however found an upgrade to my TV on there which I'm picking up today and will be selling my TV and digibox so expect that to raise approx £30Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
