(had migraine, bad evening, not thinking straight)0 -
Thats not so good, hmmm i think iwill have a looky. What was the amozon thing you signed up for? Or was that to sell your own bits and bobs.
I hope your migraine gets better. I just think there is nothing worse having one at night and you cant settle.0 -
amazon associates (not one for selling your own bits) - https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk/
had bad head at work, got lift home, sneck had gone down on yale lock so couldnt get in, spent an hour outside in freezing cold trying to bust door in but couldnt, got cuppa from next door neighbour n borrowed yellow pages, poor bloke had just sat down to his tea but came out straight away for us, took him bout 15mins to get in, fed cats, threw up etc etc then went to bed, freezing cold still so put fleecy stuff on, went toilet, threw up again, back to bed, phone went n woke me up, other half brought food up to me (bless him x) n then got up bout 12 to feed cats supper n just chilling on here since, bed time now though
am meant to take a certain tablet on night to knock pain levels out but cant take it tonight cos up early for other half for work and not sure if i should take it anyway (amtrip, pain conditions)0 -
morning all can I ask a quick (and probably very silly) question about ebay?
I am a private seller and selling all my old unwanted bits and bobs but obviously now I am looking to start buying bits to sell on, do i need to create a new buisness account to keep the two seperate OR, do I upgrade my current private account to a business account and only pay tax on the stuff I buy to sell?
I'm not too sure as I dont want to be paying tax on my own stuff if I upgrade to business. Does that make sense? sorry for being dumb just want to get it right xxReclaimed Charges £2433

Updated list. Please advise if you want added, removed, or your name changed. It's not a problem.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
My Spanish sale went through last night, at a 100% mark up on what I paid, and it now looks like another one is going to Croatia.
These are lovely wee coats that I bought in the (Woolworths) Ladybird sale at 75% off + discount voucher/Quidco.
I'm going to sell any left over items from this lot and any clothes, toys etc around the house that I can't sell on ebay, at an NCT (National Childbirth Trust) Sale at the end of the month. I used to sell and buy there when my son was young and would usually make around £40.00 profit. They sell for you and take 25%.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -

ok so far I haven't made a bean but then not really been trying. I have been looking at various bits on the internet but thats all. I am hopefully moving at the end of the month and everything is being boxed up. More space in the new place so can go through everything when get there and make piles for ebay, carboot and other places.
i did have some money saved but i have had to put elsewhere.
keep telling myself that I will do this - I will make the £10,000.Lucylema x :j0 -
hi to you you all, just joined mse, been up all night reading forum looks good, will take the challange, found some good ideas, clearing house of everything to put on ebay.
please add me to the list, regards0 -
Found a voucher for a local cafe and outdoor play area at £10 for a £30 voucher and same deal on a voucher for steam railway in the lake district and one for hop o hop off ticket for steamer on lake ullswater. All through local radio station. So spent £30 for £90 worth of entertainment for the family. That won't be included in the totals for this challenge as desperately need to save money on a monthly basis s well as make it through the challenge. But pleased with my day!!
Are these vouchers still available Jo? I would love some cheaper treats for my kids and we live in the Lake District too. :AThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
