No its not a repeat at all. Last year they did a Christmas but it was about the third episode in February.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Boo ... we're away for the weekend so I'm going to miss it.
I loved the programmes and unlike similar series renacting historical periods I thought it was really authentic.
I've recently been thinking about the victorian farm series as I am considering making my own sanitary towels and remember Ruth making some but I guess that isn't very Christmassy and something for an entirely different thread?! :o

    Enjoy the programme all

I was browsing in a bookshop this afternoon and noticed the Victorian Farm book has been re-issued, with an added "Christmas book" section in it. It looks as if they are going to have a big party for the Acton family and others, rather than the one in the series where it was just the five (or was it six) of them.
  • I have been excited about this since I saw the advert! The series was great, especially on a cold wintery night.

Loved the series, looking forward to it but will be watching it on iPlayer though.

    Me too,
