The '500 free points for a car insurance quote' offer is in martin's latest Money Tips e-mail. I can't see their car insurance department being able to cope with the volume of calls tomorrow! Readers of this thread have had a week to get theirs before martin picked up on it on another thread.0

I just phoned for a quote, I wanted to get my own insurance (and thus my own NCD) for my girlfreinds car. I was told that because it wasn't my car, they couldn't insure me. But they still gave me the points!
RESULT!!!0 -
I just took the 'bold as brass' approach and said I would like a quote so I can get the 500 clubcard points. They asked when my insurance was up for renewal, I told the truth and said next June, and they said to call back then, but they would still give me the points, and he took my details.
Not bad! I did have to wait a while before a humanoid picked up the phone though.0 -
They didn;t take my clubcard number and is it just me or will anyone else not be surprised if the points don't actually turn up on my account... (anyone tried recycling mobile phones and getting the points - nightmare)Tesco is my second home:j0

Hi,
I was talking to the customer service centre and apparently there is no longer a 5 max limit to the number of phones you can recycle.
So, phones and cartridges it is!
You can order freepost envelopes (up to 5 at a time) for the cartridges on line from the recycling factory mentioned earlier in the thread.
My local store never has any in so I sent off for my own, took about a week.0 -
