I got one of these roughly a month ago.. (for the double points you get using it).. and ive been using it lots. (and seem to have lots of points)

I was talking to a friend the other day who has one too.. I was saying something about double points, she that she doesnt get double points on hers, that she had phoned them and asked why not, and they said nope its only one point. (So whats the blimmin point in having one then??)

THEN.. I asked at my local CS desk (yesterday) and they didnt seem to know much about a Clubcard Plus at all, and as far as they knew it was only one point. (like the normal card).. another person at the CS piped up and said from what she knew they we stopping the cards altogether :confused:

THEN... today a different friend said that she had called Tesco yesterday (to get a CC plus) and they told her they WERE no longer doing them.

Arrghh.. so whats going on? did i slip through the net and get one just as it was ending? I dont know if im getting double points or not, I cant work out the receipt (because im an idiot) I think im only getting one point at the mo, and assumed I would receive the 2nd point when my May statement came.

I dont want to waste mine time faffing about *charging* the card each time I go into Tesco if im only going to be getting one point.

Hmmm.. its late.. Im tired.. and thats ^ waffle.. :o
I'll shut up and call them in the morning.. haha

Does anyone know how you can find out when Tesco Direct are doing points promotions? Like when you buy a particular item you get an extra 1000 clubcard points and stuff like that?
Do you have to keep logging onto the site every day, or is there a mailing list or anything like that?
    Thanks!
I don't think I can hang on til Friday...

My partner and I (living at same address) both have separate Tesco Clubcard accounts. Is there any benefit in this or would we be better off merging them into one account?

Yes, do they have to have the same surname? We're living in sin, so don't have.
