I have - 100 points WYS £4 or more on any wine
100 points WYB any tesco finest wine
50 points WYB any north american wine
and double points when you buy any wine
What I know about wine you could write on the back of a stamp, so I was really hoping someone could help me.
Is there a Finest, North american wine that costs £4??
If not, what is the next best thing to do?
TIA, Isabelle xx
All of its do able on one bottle I would think.. Im not sure about the North American thing though, I didnt know they grew grapes in the north of the USA. (my wine knowledge is only on the slightly larger Christmas sized stamp though :rotfl: )
Would any ole Californian Finest work instead? Someone...? .. Anyone? haha

Hi, on https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk they have found that all 3 of those vouchers will scan with a minature bottle of blossom hill chardonnay £1.89 - apparently the finest scans on anything. And of course the double points on shop for buying any wine will scan. I haven't had a chance to try it myself yet but a few on there have it worked.
Paid to shop is really worth checking out if you collect points.0 -
Hello there, I used them yesterday on a bottle of Ernest & Julio, Sierria Valley, Ruby Cabernet.xxxdxxx

I realised after i posted that I should have checked pts first and what do you know, the perfect thread :rotfl: http://www.paidtoshop.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=6460
Unfortunately, i cant do the exact wine they suggest if i want to use my 100 points WYS £4 on wine, but at least i know what i am looking for.
On my next shop I hope to spend less than a pound and get the wine, £20 of toiletries, £8 of healthcare, £10 of extras and about 850 points. Fingers crossed anyway.Reclaiming for family and friends. I had to get two bottles to get them all in the end. One finest bottle and the other north american with one being over £4.0 -
Did you go via quidco as they offer £4 back so essentially could would out to under £1. Or is using quidco going to risk the chance of the 1000 points?
I didn't go via Quidco. There appears to be a specific promo code showing up when using the emailed link from tesco. I assume this code is what gets you the 1000 points. I think going via Quidco might change the code, which would lose you the points. Worth taking a look by seeing if a promo code shows up when you go via quidco.
The Tesco promo code is: TDRAPR
From the email from Tesco:
"To qualify for the extra 1,000 Clubcard Points you must register for Tesco DVD Rental with the correct promotional code TDRAPR and make your first DVD Rental monthly payment. This excludes any discounted package, e.g. gift voucher purchases. Points will be awarded in your May or August statement, depending on when your first payment is made. The introductory offer expires on 15/05/2007 and cannot be combined with any other offer. Limited to one per household. First time customers only."In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I got these too, and used them all for a Finest Californian Zinfandel - 15%! It's the second bottle we've had, and to be honest, we didn't like it much (although it improved after sitting on the worktops for a week!). The one I've just bought can be used as a pressie for someone, I suppose.
It was £4.99, btw.

I had these vouchers to. I bought a bottle of French Rose worth more than £4. All 4 vouchers were scanned and surprisingly all 4 were accepted, even though really I only expected to get the points for >£4 and the double points. This is not always the case, in the past I have had coupons for white wine rejected when I tried to use with red wine.HOW MUCH CAN YOU SAVE?: OLYMPIC CHALLENGE 2007BRONZE 10% SILVER 25% GOLD 50% PLATINUM 75%January 7%February 13%March 20%April 27%May 32%June 39%July 45%August 54%September 62%October 68%0 -
Our new Tesco Extra in Shrewsbury opens today and this morning I had a mailing with a brochure for the new store plus double points coupons x 4 weeks! Also there is a new recycling centre where they give 1 point for every four plastic, glass or metal items recycled!
Brings another slant to this wombling lark doesn't it? I'll have to get a large van and get up early the mornings that the recycling lorry comes down our street :rotfl:
