Our new Tesco Extra in Shrewsbury opens today and this morning I had a mailing with a brochure for the new store plus double points coupons x 4 weeks! Also there is a new recycling centre where they give 1 point for every four plastic, glass or metal items recycled!
Brings another slant to this wombling lark doesn't it? I'll have to get a large van and get up early the mornings that the recycling lorry comes down our street :rotfl:

:rotfl: the council will be wondering why there is a drop in the recycling rate just in your area!:rotfl:0 -
Dunno what your recycling point is like, but my local Tesco RP spent about 4 months breaking down on a very regular basis, and then when it works there is a queue a mile long! Of course, I still use it but save up the recycling until bursting point - lol0

I have got a bit obsessed with this. I went for the first time the other day to the new recycling bank and was most impressed that even a foil cup from an Aunt Bessies yorkshire pudding registered as one item. I have resolved to collect enough in a year to pay for a Eurotunnel crossing on a booze run next year. I decided as each item recycled is effectively worth 1 point in deals (4 items = 1 point Clubcard Points = 4 points in Deals) I need to collect an average of 17 items a day......
I went out with the dog this morning and collected 18 plastic bottles, metal cans and beer bottles chucked around near the river.... It is very 'green' and you get a good feeling but then I had to bring them home and clean them with the hosepipe in the drain at 0630.....my missus has started bringing plastic milk bottles home from work and today I started getting twitchy when I saw plastic bottles on the ground or people chucking them in the bin. I work on the trains and thinking of the amount of such bottles that get left around makes me jittery.
I think this could all get out of control and end in tears......

so that is a form of wombling! but hell this will probably work out quite well, but I reckon its nowhere near me.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -

the only one that won't work on this combo is the double points coupon (i tried it!)
buy a bottle of finest californian wine and the other 3 will work , pick your sa carefully though as more jobsworths than ever now it seems!:beer:All of its do able on one bottle I would think.. Im not sure about the North American thing though, I didnt know they grew grapes in the north of the USA. (my wine knowledge is only on the slightly larger Christmas sized stamp though :rotfl: )
Would any ole Californian Finest work instead? Someone...? .. Anyone? haha
