It depends on the Deals. A few are name specific, i.e. they are only available for the person named and this is put on the Deals coupon. This applies with holidays, I believe, plus a few others such as MFI I think, and is stated in the Deals booklet or on the website (or certainly used to be)
However most deals (eg Days out and meals and for example Eurotunnel) don't have names on the deals coupons so can be used by anyone, so you send them off on her behalf or she sends them off, they would have to be sent to her address, then you can use the Deals, because you don't have to prove your name or present your clubcard again when using the Deals tokens (except in the stated exceptions)
Even with the holidays,I am sure your Mum could get her coupons, send away for the vouchers, book the holiday in her name but with you as the traveller. I would assume this would be OK?

Thank you for your reply, what I mean is the voucher you get from Tesco, it has your name and card number on, can I exchange these for clubcard deal even though they have a different name on???0 -
Ive recently got a Clubcard plus.. (and so far used it twice)
On my receipt (when I use the clubcard plus).. It gives me a different total to my *normal* clubcard.
I thought they would be linked.. should they be?
Will they send me a seperate quartely statement for clubcard plus points? Would I still get points offers in that?
Oo and.. I know you get double points when using Clubcard plus.. what happens when its double points weekend? (like the one we just had)
questions questions questions.. :rotfl:Very proud of trying to deal with my debts. LBM 04/09

Good on her. He clearly was buying the product without being interested in the ''incentive''. The added incentive to buy the product(s) is the points. If he was buying the product anyway, without the added incentive, why should they give the incentive away to you, when it was clear the product was going to be sold anyway (i.e. without giving away the added incentive?)
Let us be clear, whatever Tesco's profits etc and however much it might appear to be a drop in the ocean, these clubcard points do cost something. It obviously generates more new sales than it costs, hence their record profits, but it still is a cost to the business.
I know it is difficult for some people to get their heads around these points being an incentive to buy. Qualification to get the incentive is for YOU to BUY the product. The fact they allow you to go in with old receipts is a goodwill gesture but with any such goodwill some people will abuse it.
So claiming the points if you haven't bought the product(s) is fraud because you are claiming an incentive you were not entitled to.
I can't spell it out any simpler.

Its been a month and a half since I sent off, but have been accumulating the points but still my card aint arrived.
btw are the vouchers sent off by tesco taken off your points? or are they an incentive to shop for more.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%

The answer....was in the answer!!!! This was answered if you slow down and read the answer I gave.
I think possibly you didn't understand my answer as you don't understand the process:
Clubcard holder gets sent vouchers which can be spent in Tesco or used on Deals. This is where you are at.
Clubcard holder (to avoid any possible problems I recommend that route but possibly anyone else) sends off the Clubcard Vocuhers toexchange for Deals Vouchers.
With one or two exceptions, (eg holidays and MFI, as stated in Deals booklet or online), the Deals Vouchers are posted to the Clubcard holder with no names on them. These vouchers can then be used by anyone for Deals.
If you are asking can you post them off when they are not your vouchers and get the deals sent to you, this is a bit uncertain. However unless you are using them without the knowledge of the cardholder surely there is no problem with them sending their vouchers off or you sending them off in their name, and them giving you the deals vouchers when they arrive? The result is the same - you end upwith Deals Vouchers with no name on that you can use. I don't really understand the problem.
Cheers

Possibly it is like green points, and personal finance ones.... separate totals but all totted up when statement time comes.
As for the double points.... I have a coupon (double points for one shop coupon) I am keeping for a big shop. I was seriously tempted to do that this last weekend and possibly would get quadrouple points.... However I noticed the second set of points were on the receipt as ''bonus points'' so I reckon the till would have say on a 100 quid spend, given me 100 points, bonus 100 points for the weekend promo, and another 100 for my double points. It doesn't give double for extra points promos and coupons so probably wouldn't for this. I didn't use it in the end cos I was worried it might have just accepted it and given me nothing extra due to the promo already offering double points?

Contact PowerGen and register your clubcard with them. They will then allocate you one point for every pound you spend. This will appear on your Tesco clubcard quarterly statement showing how many you have earned from PowerGen.
If you have already paid out before registering your Clubcard then phone Clubcard customer services and I think they will sort out the points (the ones you could have had) to be added.
Once you have registered your Clubcard with PowerGen it all happens automatically.
