I read on PTS that someone took their inkjet cartridges to CS instore to be recycled instead of posting them in...as lots seem to get lost/no points addded when sent by post.
Has anyone here done this?
Do you think they would add the points straight away? Thank you."I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

I'm afraid Tesco HO don't give a stuff what you think Dear Consumer.
If you are a repeat Wombler, Dundee will soon catch on and either warn you about the 'unusual' activity on your Clubcard account or suspend your account - you risk losing Wombled and 'genuine' points.
Up to you though - perhaps all things in moderation applies here?

The CSD at 99.9% of Tescos will not take ink catridges or mobile phones, it will only be done by an assistant who doesn't know the correct procedure.0

ive not had any points for returns recycles in over a year, kept a log of returns then phoned clubcard recently to complain, was given complimentary points and told not to post them off in future but to hand in at store cs who would make sure through internal system that they ended up where intended0

Also, I've read - maybe on this forum - that a person wombled some points and the goods were bought with a stolen credit card. Which opened a huge can of worms for the wombler. Not worth the risk IMO.0 -
Yep I read the same thing....that's another reason won't be doing it.....have to think of other "legal" ways of boosting the points!!0

I've never wombled... just wondered why people get so irate about it? Surely it's just up to the individual?"I expect to pass through this world but once. Some stores now have collection points in store (or will soon, I was offered one the other day. No room unfortunately). But no, the points are not added in store.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
I recently noticed that in January my points total mysteriously went down by 300 , so a few weeks ago I phoned up Tesco Clubcard and a Customer Services Advisor told me that they had a "computer system error " just before christmas last year which took my points away, and they told me that my actual points owed was more than that at 500 points, they appologised and reinstalled them immediately, So keep a check on your points if it happened to me, it must of happened to thousands of others out there as well.0

Umm - where am I being irate?
Which part of 'up to you though' is unclear?
It's about education - letting other MSErs know of the potential consequences of Wombling.
Hope that my trying to help has not upset you too much.
