THIS IS INCORRECT - and is now the subject of correspondence between HO and self.

You can indeed pay money in at CS, in addition to the basic minimum requirement of £1 monthly DD - I do, when I've calculated my shopping total.

This money is instantly available if you pay it in Mon - Fri, but at weekends, it will take up to 48 hours to be 'banked' into your account.

Better by far to park your shopping and dash outside to hole-in-wall, if it's a Mon>Fri shop, then 'bank' this at CS. They'll give you a receipt; you then go through a check-out as normal, paying with newly recharged CC+.

Didn't know that cash payments onto card are instant - had a few times when my DD hasn't kicked in that month, so spent more on card than it was 'charged' with and it was declined. Could be a bit embarrassing, but always have another card just in case.

What do you mean about asking for points only to secure double pts? I pay with CC+ as well as use it as a normal clubcard for pts - is this not how to get double pts?

Go to paidtoshop.co.uk and talk to a guy called taxiphil he has succesfully sued tesco for points cancelation in the past may be worth reading his threads and talking to him for advice, certainly there are no limits currently in the T+Cs and i feel if taescos were taken to small claims court they will fall over before it happened and give in.

Remember, it will only be instantly available Mon>Fri. At weekends, it can take 48 hours. Your own online Bank tfr will take the usual time for such things.

Yes, you are right, but I was wrongly advised otherwise by HO person.

Not sure this will help, but it was on watchdog and after they said someone was buying phones off ebay for a few quid and sending them off to be recycled by tesco, they sent 100's of them and tesco refused to issue the vouchers, watchdog got involved and then they paid out... HTH

you need to show the bank statement as it is a legal requirement now to make sure that money laundering (sp) can not occur on any new bank accounts that are opened in the uk.

Can I clarify something please, I have picked a Tesco Credit Card leaflet this morning, and if I have read this correctly, if you pay for your Tesco shopping online or instore with the credit card, do you ineffect get double points?
