I have put this in both main Tesco Points areas, hope that's Ok.

Tesco are giving away 1200 for taking out dental insurance (600 after first months premium of £8.95) then 600 with following statement.

Has anyone worked out if it worth paying one months premium and then cancelling?

Will you get all the points?

    Thanks

I have a couple of the 500 point telephone envelopes. Does anyone know if I can use these to send my teeth in when they need a service.

    What's a 500 point telephone envelope?

By recycling your old mobile phone (maximum of 5 phns per year per account) you could earn 500 points per phone.:j Well it used to be 500 points :D , now reduced to 300points. The envelops can be found in Tesco.

The phn must work, you get less points if the phone doesn't switch on

Hopefully someone else will come along with more info.....
  • You are lucky to get an envelope - i have to send mine in with a covering letter as 3 x tesco's in my area didn't have the forms. I have now waited 2 x weeks for the points to be creditted.

I sent in 4 mobile phones - took about 3 weeks for the 2000 points to be added to my account. Typically they showed on my account the day after the deadline for my February vouchers!!

How long do you reckon it is going to be before they limit the number of inkjet carts you can send?

    They have!
Over the past few months I have sent several hundred inkjet cartridges away that I have collected, the points have been awarded and the clubcard vouchers issued.
Now I have tried to convert them to Virgin Holiday vouchers, a director of Tesco Freetime, the people who handle the voucher processing, has written to say that I have acted outside the terms of the points scheme and it "amounts to an attempt to abuse the clubcard scheme"
He has asked me to justify how this level of inkjet recycling "can be regarded as personal and consumer use" and to "only reply in writing as this will give us both an evidence chain should this matter end in court action."

I am an individual who has collected the points to take foster children on holiday in the summer. I have pointed out that they set a limit of 5 mobile phones to recycle, but do not set a limit on inkjet cartridges but they are trying to shaft me on the clubcard terms that state "THE TESCO CLUBCARD SCHEME IS ONLY FOR PERSONAL AND CONSUMER USE" and the number submitted is "FAR IN EXCESS OF ANY NORMAL USEAGE BY A CONSUMER HOUSEHOLD."
I am composing a reply, and will update on how it goes

tell them you print a lot of photos of your foster children, make your own party invitations for them as that uses a lot of colour ink. plus theres their homework to print out and they have loads, and you and dh also use it to write to friends and family etc
