Hi
Anyone know if you can open both the instant access and online accounts and get points on both?
Thanks0 -
I have put this in both main Tesco Points areas, hope that's Ok.
Tesco are giving away 1200 for taking out dental insurance (600 after first months premium of £8.95) then 600 with following statement.
Has anyone worked out if it worth paying one months premium and then cancelling?
Will you get all the points?
Thanks0 -

I don't know whether it's changed recently but I just rang them and they couldn't help me on that number, I had to ring the direct line for Clubcard Plus/Finance - 08457 104010.
That's naughty of them - you've paid for that call.

Good for you and your longterm strategy, JellyTot.
First, £6.50 = £26 in Deals.
Next - immediately ring Head Office Freephone on 0800-505555 and ask for a Clubcard Plus application.
It may take a couple or more weeks, but it's well worthwhile.
As Martin says elsewhere here, it's a little publicised DOUBLE POINTS ON SPEND Clubcard. I now have mine - mostly green coloured, identical to a bank/credit card. You must ensure a minimum monthly Direct Debit of £1 and can top up with cash at CS as you enter a store, to cover your shopping.
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A KEY FOB CARD(Security reasons, they say) as Clubcard Plus represents cash in your a/c, for which you'll rceive Statements. If you want/need to pay by other means, in part or in whole, STILL PRESENT YOUR CLUBCARD PLUS, SAYING 'Points only, please.'
Thanks ive telephoned for one ....also a few queries
.Do the points on your normal clubcard get tranferred or do you still keep your old blue clubcard
....does the clubcard plus give double points if i dont use it to pay for my shopping
also does the Clubcard Plus scan on the self service tills as i use them a lot for conveinence
thanks in advance0 -
Heatherks, I've just called for an application form and they said that once I have my card to call back on the 0800 number on the application and 'marry' it with my original clubcard. They also confirmed that you can use it to pay at tesco.com.

Hi Heatherks - sorry can't answer your first query but regards double points, if you only use CC+ for the points and use another payment means then you will only get normal points, you only get double points when you actually pay with the CC+.
I have used my CC+ card on Self Scan, you just swipe it down the side of the screen, but I've only used it for points and not to pay with on SS, so not sure what happens with regards having to sign ,seeing as CC+ doesn't have chip and pin. You might have to call the SA over which I don't want to do if I'm using MOCs/points coupons on SS.0 -

I think it is...but I've been trying to log on to the website for the past 4 weeks now and it always crashes.
See if it works for you...please!

the new window that opens when I click on quote and buy core cover always says "The server at quoteandbuy.dentalinsurance.tescofinance.com is taking too long to respond."
So I've given up:rolleyes:Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
