I'm having a little Nectar Points Challenge this year, to see how many I can earn this year.
So far I have got a nectar credit card, to do my grocery and fuel spending on (to pay off in full monthly of course).
I do the Nectar AdPoints (max 250 points a week)
Nectar Surverys, 25-50 a week sometimes.
I had about £10 at the start of the yerar and I am aiming for at least £50, probably to use for Amazon vouchers towards Christmas presents.
Anyone else fancy joining me?
If you have a smartphone, download a free Nectar app and this could give you exclusive bonus points, like 3000 points from Viking, 1500 points from Dulux, and several from Sainsbury's in my case.0 -

What do you have to do to get the points?0 -

Viking: call and order £30 (excl VAT)
Dulux: shop in store at Dulux Decorator Centre (suppose no min spend)
You need to opt-in using the app first. Detailed T&C are in the offer page of the app. I haven't tried them myself, but used a few other offers from Sainsbury's and Homebadse which worked.0 -
Not sure if this is the correct place. This is my first go. Argos refused to honour my points saying the card was out of date. There is nearly £100 on the card. I think there's something going on.0

Strange one that as they dont have end dates on them.
I would send a message to Nectar maybe on there facebook page and let them know.0 -
Just had an email from Nectar saying Amazon are stopping Nectar points on their sales. Am really hacked off as the majority of my points come from Amazon.0

Me too!
I suppose there is always eBay, and since they announced we won't be able to get cashback through Quidco after 31st January, I've now linked my Nectar card to my eBay account.
However....I buy a lot more on Amazon, mainly because I can use Amazon vouchers from doing surveys etc to reduce the cost, especially of bigger items - breadmaker, portable radiator etc. The free postage on non Marketplace items is also a big plus.0 -
I've just had the email re Amazon too
Is there any specific deals/places to spend nectar points that are better than others? I've rarely spent any points so have quite a stash saved & would like to spend them wisely!0 -
I too have had the email from Amazon about Nectar. Not happy as Amazon don't do cashback either. Does this mean we won't be able to spend Nectar points on the Amazon website after 31st January also? There's something I've been saving my points for so I'll have to get it now if we can't spend them after 31st Jan0

I got the email from Nectar about Amazon and I didn't realise that I could redeem Nectar points at Amazon as that is where I had been collecting Nectar points which I then spent in Argos & Sainsburys. Due to discovering on this thread that I can spend Nectar points in Amazon I have just ordered a £20 Amazon voucher because there is an item that hubby & I want which costs £20.20 so we will only have to pay 20p. :money: :j
Thanks! :beer:0
