  • thanks i just emailed them again, lets hope this time they will honour the offer... it really dissapointed my 3 boys, as those points were to pay for Merlin passes so they had a great Summer holidays full of Theme park fun, i especially booked and passed my driving test so i could drive them.

    will keep you informed as to what happens.
  • OMG one in the bag for the little people... have been trying soo hard to get my 16000 bonus nectar points which i should have had back in July, after your suggestion of contacting Justin King, i did this, his assistant gave me a link to the nectar support, i thought i would give it one last try informing them that if they didn't honour the points i would go to OFT and Watchdog, people who run nectar just called to say that they will honour the points as gesture of goodwill - although they still won't accept that the offer didn't relate to NY or Dublin....
    anyway. got my points Yipppeeeee Thanks MSE

    well done hun! :j:j:j:j:j :beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

    I know it is too late for the summer holidays for the passes but at least you can use them for next summer.

    They have to keep saying that the offer didn't relate to NY or Dublin as others may try to reclaim their points too, and this is their way of covering their backs.

    I swear these companies should hire MSErs to read their t&c, we would find all the loopholes and save them money!
  • 100 bonus points on Cravendale 2ltr, purchase online or instore before 26 Dec. just got an "opt in" email from nectar. Would work with 50p off coupon on the coupon thread and maybe with the free milk friday voucher? Or is that just for 1ltr? Haven't been able to get in on that one yet!
    Can't post link as it was a personalised email but look out for it in your spam hth

    Has anyone tried the Adpoints trial? It was in the weekly nectar email (opt-in). You get to earn up to an extra 850 points a month for watching adverts on your PC. Not had any points yet as only signed up on 24th Nov, points are added on the 23rd of each. I believe its a 3 month trial to iron out any faults before opening to all.
  • British Gas asked me to add a Nectar card to my account a few months back and I said I didn't have one, so they sent me onw. I've just realised that when they sent it, they didn't link it to my British Gas account so I haven't been getting points. I've added it now, but seeing as British Gas sent it out am I really stupid for thinking my BG points would have been going on without me having to actually go online and link it? And who would I ring to plead for it to be backdated - Nectar or BG?
    LBM:1/1/12

    I'd contact British Gas- it seems a bit daft of them to send you a card you didn't already have so may have no idea what to do with it or that you had to go set it up with your British Account Details- I'd say thats their error, not a big deal if they can just deal with it though as its your card it may well be a case of them giving you instructions on what to do to get the points added due to security reasons.

    Hi everyone

    I've got about £300 worth of Nectar points saved up, mostly because I only ever collect or spend them at Sainsbury's and they're worth so little there.

    I've just seen that I can now redeem them at Amazon, which is great (and I think a fairly recent addition?)

    Anyway does anyone know whether Nectar points are ever worth double or triple the face value at Amazon? It would be very nice if they were worth £600 or £900!

    I know at the moment I can earn triple points on spending at Amazon by clicking via Nectar.
