Similar experience here too. I had £47 worth of point to double up, to potentially£94 vouchers. You can only double up to get vouchers in multiples of £10 (to a voucher maximum of £40), and as seen, the goods bought must exceed the voucher value I.e. You have to spend at least £10,£20,£30 or £40 in that category, and make up the difference above each threshold.
I got vouchers across 4different departments, but the process seemed overly complicated, given that you have to do it in store and at specific tills,(usually the customer services desk) it took me & the poor lass on CS a good 20minutes to figure out how best to jiggle the vouchers to fit what I was buying (some items went back on the shelf as they were less than a tenner & mse mantra said no!)- luckily it was late last night so I wasn't causing a queue!. They said a LOT of people were turning up not understanding the many restrictions in this short lived scheme AND they are expected to do the normal CS role as well!! Glad I'm not doing it today (Saturday)!
If they run this scheme again it needs simplifying, and it's on-the-ground administration needs thinking through a lot more!0 -
A quick heads-up to say that the next Nectar Double-Up event is happening from 18 March to 7 April.
It's mentioned in the Sainsburys Bank Money Matters mag:
http://digital.edition-on.net/links/8871_money_matters_winter_2015_g.asp?page=7
No details yet, just says that points could be worth double or triple their usual value.0 -
I've received an email about this. Categories included are TU clothing, entertainment, toys, electricals, homeware, baby and ebooks.😃0

I'm very confused about how this works! I have £7.40 worth of points and want some ebooks. How do I actually buy them? Do I have to have £10 worth before I can double up?0

My recommendation is to shop first, then go to customer services to redeem your double up points.
I did this yesterday and brought a stove top kettle for (free) £20
£10 of nectar point doubled UP to £20. Very pleased as I only wanted a kettle like this for when we have power cuts as a saucepan of water never makes a good cuppa.0 -
go to entertainment - pick up 4 blu-rays for £50 offer. use £40 voucher and remaining £10 on payment of your choice.
4 blu-rays for £7.50 equivalent (and dont forget to ebay the UV codes for ~ £2 a pop).
Not bad value.0 -
I have had a problem for 3 months where I can only collect 7 points per month with the Nectar toolbar. I used to be able to collect 200 per month. Is anyone else having this problem?0
